Amos Russell Wells

The Abolitionist was our church’s first official minister since joining the Washington Union and he was a founding member of the Queensbury Liberty Party and served as its vice-president. He was documented as attending the first anti-slavery meeting publicly recorded in all of Warren County on October 25th, 1845
