Once upon a time there was a giraffe called John. He had always wanted to be able to ride a skateboard. But no matter how much he tried he just could not ride a skateboard. He would get on his skateboard after school he would try and try but nothing would work.

“Ride, ride, Learn to ride,But he couldn’t do itAlthough he tried.”

It was not working so he called to his brother to help him ride his skateboard. He got much better but he still could not ride his skateboard by himself.So they sang:

“Ride, ride, Learn to ride,But he couldn’t do itAlthough he tried.”

So then he called his friend Bill to come and help him ride his skateboard. But it made no difference. He just couldn’t ride his skateboard by himself. So they sang:

“Ride, ride, Learn to ride,But he couldn’t do itAlthough he tried.”

So he called for his Dad and he came and helped. And this time it made all the difference. He was now riding his skateboard all by himself. He was happy, very happy indeed. They all sang:

Ride,ride,He learned to rideIt finally happened Because he tried.
