Biography:

Frank Gilbreth (1868-1924) Lillian Evelyn Moller (1878-1972)

•He was born in Fairf ield, Maine.

•He was a bricklayer, a bui lding contractor and a management engineer.

•He was a member of the Taylor Society.

•She was born in Oakland, Cal ifornia.

•She graduated from the University of California with masters in Literature.

•She had a Ph.D. from Brown University.

•They were members of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineering).

•They lectured at Purdue University.

•They got married in 1904.

•They managed to raise 12 children as well as working on their business.
