Blending In With Branches Some FER-DE-LANCES live in the woods on the ground. In the day they live in branches so they will blend in. When they are curled up step away. In the day is when they hunt for their food and when they curl up it looks like a volcano to strike. There was a man who didnt notice the snake and stepped on it and got poisoned by the snake.

THE KILLER BITE The fer-de-lance bites are pretty powerful you never would want to get bit by this deadly snake This killers bite leaves a 10 inch tunnel down where the snake bite you. :When you walk in the woods you are passing more than 50 snakes and most of them are related to the frightening FER-DE-LANCE

Self-Defense Biting isnt the snakes only defense, however. It often tries to escape an attack or scare enemies away by making a buzzing sound with its tail.
