THE FOUNDATION’S FOUR PILLARS(How we support YOU)

Resident AssistanceCore to the mission and fundraising work of the Foundation since 1963, this pillar provides financial assistance for housing and support to residents who have depleted their financial resources. Donations to this pillar provide a safety net that ensures that residents who have lived at Rose Villa for seven years (and longer) will have resources necessary to continue to live at Rose Villa while maintaining dignity and independence.

Education and Enrichment Knowing that we never stop learning, this pillar helps promote the financial, physical, mental, and social well-being of residents, family and the community through cutting-edge workshops and innovative speakers series. Professional Services This pillar provides support in the form of confidential one-on-one financial coaching and access to a complimentary vetted list of professional financial planners, fiduciaries, legal counselors, and tax service providers.

Unrestricted Donations to this pillar allow the Board of Directors to determine how best to use your donation and leverage operational funds for specific improvements or programs that enhance the well-being of residents at Rose Villa.

WHAT WE DOThe Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit that works in close collaboration with Rose Villa Inc. to assist with the financial needs and well-being of residents. Through the Four Pillars, the Foundation provides critical financial assistance for housing and support of residents who outlive their resources. Educational programs, workshops, and services are available to all Rose Villa residents, their family members and the community.

Join Our CommunityThe true meaning of a “Foundation Community” is to plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit: a place where you feel fellowship with others as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and caring about your neighbor. The Foundation needs YOU. Volunteer your time, talent and treasure and make a difference.

Become a PacesetterDonors who like an easy and simple system for making monthly donations love the Pacesetters Club! Joining is easy and being a member allows you to participate in lively quarterly events while supporting the Foundation. The Pacesetters Club is hassle-free and monthly donations can be charged to Resident or Staff accounts.

Invest in a Charitable Gift AnnuityAvailable to Rose Villa Residents 70 years and older, a Charitable Gift Annuity allows you to purchase an annuity ($12,000 minimum) and in return, the Foundation guarantees a fixed payment to you for the rest of your life. Not only will you support the Foundation, you will receive a check quarterly, for as long as you live! We think you will be very surprised by the generous interest rates. OUR LEADERSHIPThe Foundation is led by an Executive Director and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of Rose Villa Residents, Rose Villa Inc. Board members, and members from the community. The Foundation Board oversees the Foundation’s investments, monitors resources and programs, and sets and reviews policies and procedures. This dedicated group supports the Foundation and serves as ambassadors by educating residents, families and the community about the work of the Foundation and opportunities to donate and support the Foundation.

JOIN THE LEGACY SOCIETYThe Legacy Society consists of visionary residents who name the Foundation in their will. Legacy giving does not require a large income or vast estate, only a thoughtful intention.

If you have included, or would like to include, the Foundation in your will or other estate plans, we would be honored to know your intentions and have you as a member of our Legacy Society. Members of the Legacy Society receive a Legacy Society pin and an invitation to the annual Legacy Society event.

Purchase a Paver Custom designed commemorative pavers are a wonderful way to celebrate any occasion or event. Pavers line the edge of the walkway in the beautiful Tranquility Garden and will be enjoyed for years to come.
