The ILA Future Lab, part of the stand of Germany’s Federal
Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, will showcase

aerospace industry and technology start-ups. The program
will provide excellent networking opportunities including

Providing defense and security• In 2016, ILA will once again showcase innovation in
military aviation. Particular emphasis will be placed on new technologies, such as the latest developments in unmanned aviation, the increase in operational readiness of airborne weapons systems and on cooperation in MRO.
• Due to the strong presence of the German and inter-national armed forces, ILA is the ideal framework for discussions with decision-makers.

Cooperating for the aircraft of tomorrow• Demand remains high, but pressure to innovate and to
reduce costs continues to increase.• Under the headline Aerospace Industry 4.0, ILA 2016

Solutions for any mission• Whether passenger or freight transport, VIP, offshore
or rescue mission, whether police, army, navy or air force: Exciting new models are being introduced in the heli-copter market.
• ILA is the key European platform for the international helicopter business. Visit the Heli Lounge in the dedicated exhibition area, the static display featuring the cutting-edge Airbus Bluecopter, as well a conference on new heli-copter technologies (3 June).

• The emphasis of the ILA Space Pavilion and the ILA Space Day (2 June) will be on the changing political and business environment for space, and on the 2016 ESA Ministerial Meeting. As part of Astronauts’ Day (3 June), current and former astronauts will discuss the value and future of the ISS.
