The Fisher 34

The Fisher 34 Sloop

Over 100 Fisher 34’s have been built since her introduction into the range in 1978. Built with all the virtues and traditional features of the original Fisher concept, the 34 has evolved in design over the years to the modern version of the sloop built today, which is ideal for couples looking for easy, efficient sailing.

With the sloop rig, double doors open into the cockpit to create an ever more spacious ‘feel’. The traditional ketch rig is available as an option.

The Fisher 34

The linear galley on the starboard side has generous work surfaces with stainless steel sinks, a top opening ice box which can convert to an optional refrigerator and a two burner cooker with both grill and oven. There is ample stowage throughout the galley area.

Galley

The saloon area is truly spacious with plenty of stowage and a full dinette/seating area. Large opening portholes create a light and airy interior. The ‘U’ shaped saloon seating area can convert to a double berth if required.

The spacious forecabin has two single length berths with a double berth infill panel. The double aft quarter cabin is set under the wheelhouse, again with a full length double berth. Aft and to port is a modern spacious heads compartment with shower, all designed for ‘easy care’.

Saloon

The wheelhouse is a distinctive and practical feature of the Fisher 34. With generous seating and excellent visibility, it doubles as a comfortable raised saloon. The internal helm position provides a safe and warm environment to sail in poor weather or out of season.

The optional sliding sunroof, together with opening side windows in the wheelhouse, provides a light and comfortable interior with excellent ventilation for hotter climates

Wheelhouse

Under sail, the Fisher 34 handles beautifully, better in fact than many ‘conventional’ yachts but when power is needed there’s more than sufficient in the 75 h.p. Engine.

The Fisher 34 combines the best of everything in space, strength, performance and power and is the ideal mid-range yacht for coastal or blue water cruising.
