Corporea is the first European interactive museum on human body.Over 2.500 square metres on three floors, 14 thematic islands, 100 exhibits, exhibitions, interactive installations and workstations for the most amazing journey that every man would like to get: in his own body. An incredible experience available in three languages: italian, english and chinese.

Through videos, virtual technology, games, multimedia, labs and hands on experiences visitors will know human body in its complexity entering in its holes, walking surfaces and flowing through circulatory and cerebral pathways.

The 14 thematic islands with interactive exhibits are enriched by beautiful archaeological and historical findings, from the main Museums of Campania Region connected with the thematic areas, as well as by the new frontier of digital manufacturing, with a 3D printer to create some anatomic files and displaying fully 3D printed objects including implants, a neonatal incubator and some medical items.

At Città della Scienza Italy’s most advanced 3D Planetarium. It works as a modern 3D cinema whose shows make people travelling across universe mysteries as well as in history and ancient times and discovering the beauties of human body, nature and archeology.

The 3D Planetarium of Città della Scienza has a diameter of 20 meters, 113 seats, and one of the most advanced technologies in the world. 3D technology and the special position of the dome provide an effect of complete involvement of the viewer, thanks to acoustics that will guarantee the public a unique spectacle of the universe.

During summer nights Planetarium offers observations of the sky with telescope, a fascinating scientific activity.

Planetarium offers - thanks to an important collaboration with astronomers and researchers - shows and movies to be immersed in a night sky, discover the stars from the theories of the ancient Greek astronomers getting to large current telescopes, know how to protect the starry skies from light pollution, retrace missions to the moon, follow the travels of probes and spacecraft that have explored our Solar System, or even explore the dark matter to understand why the universe is as it appears, where we come from, and how it has evolved in billions of years.

3D Planetarium offers a rich program of shows to be enriched during the year.

It is an interactive exhibition to discover sea world. Aquaria, touch pool, multimedia installations, interactive exhibits, environmental reconstructions and spectacular scenographies will take visitors in wonderful world in order to meet living organisms and learn how human impact can affect marine ecosystem; it is possible to simulate the effects of hydrogeological instability on our coasts through a spectacular installation that mixes kinetic sand and computer reconstructions, observe the dynamics that create or destroy beaches and create whirls and wave motions, visit the ocean depths in the company of the strangest creatures.

Children can populate a wide virtual acquarium with their drafts.

An high definition microscope and a chromakey will project you into the most beautiful sea floor of the planet!In the kitchen lab it is possible to discover all the secrets for healthy sea food. Choose best food, how to prepare and storage.

Visitors can also learn about issues related to the future of our sea, from transport to climate change, from energy sources to safeguarding ecosystems.

All exhibitions are in Italian, English and Chinese.

A galleon under prehistoric seas, an uninhabited ark in which animals of the past are revived in the digital age, a walk through time, a dive into the sea in which we have not swum. Paleomare is an exhibition of fossils and design of the Mineral Art Gallery. An evolutionary link between the present sea and the Paleozoic sea, an exaltation of matter, of the form and color of the past put into relation with the present, a celebration of the exceptional nature of fossilization as an image of time, as an indissoluble trace of the evolution. Paleomare is a portal that allows a space-time gap of many millions of years. The exhibition collects a collection of Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Quaternary fossils, of marine origin, small and giant animals lived in the past, thanks to which the history of our land has taken shape.

Visiting the exhibition Bugs&Co it will be possible to discover all the secrets and understand what made them so successful. An exhibition, as in the tradition of Città della Scienza, not only to watch but to live: it will be possible to observe, hear and touch closely the world of insects, spiders, scorpions and other invertebrates. Thanks to the spectacular specimens in the entomological boxes it will be possible to appreciate the bright colors and the strangest shapes, while living insects, with unique characteristics, will be hosted in the naturalistic terrariums.

For every man on Earth there are over 150 million bugs. “The six-legged giants” have conquered almost all the habitats of our planet… so for this reason perhaps it is the case to begin to know them better.

#BIKE_IT is an interactive and original exhibition designed on the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of the bicycle, consists of an interactive exhibit, unique and original, suitable for all ages, it tells two hundred years of bicycle history from the first models to the most advanced technological bikes. Many topics to be focused... tradition and technological innovation, sustainable development, new lifestyles, physical and mental well-being, cycling tourism and many other activities, workshops and thematic events will be offered to visitors.
