Farmhouse Biscuits, a family owned and operated business now in its 4th generation began 50 years ago in a farmhouse kitchen in Pendle, a tiny village located in the North West of England. In 1973, due to demand for the biscuits, a decision was

made to discontinue the farming operation of the business and solely concentrate on biscuits under the name Farmhouse Biscuits Limited. Production increased quickly from a few kilos to several tons a week.

Retailers across the globe soon became aware of the variety and high quality products that we offer. Packaging also plays a big role within our success. The simplistic look of the products is still very appealing, some of which hasn't changed in 50

years. The only exceptions being the highly decorated and collectable gift tins that the markets demanded. The Farmhouse brand over the years has become a well respected name with both customers and consumers around the globe. From our humble beginnings we have continued over the years to expand our production site that in 2012 will be over 200,000 sq ft

employing 300 people.

We supply many of the World’s most prestigious stores and strive to continue with our high reputation for quality, honesty and diversity, manufacturing fine traditionally made biscuits with techniques that have largely remained unchanged throughout our

history. Our own product range offers exciting recipes and exclusively designed packaging that is enhanced each year with new products. Our NPD team are always happy to discuss new flavour profiles and develop products under private label. The vast knowledge we have available within this sector along with a commitment for service enables us to deliver products that are often beyond expectation. A growing recipe base of over 1100 different biscuits and cookies in various shapes & sizes

from sweet biscuits through to “free from” biscuits is a very valuable resource.

The view is consumers do like a quality made product. We will continue to make them in the same old traditional methods as we always have.
