Synopsis:Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg) is a boxer from the working class town of Lowell,Massachusetts.Heisonthecuspofcompetinginthebiggestfightsofhiscareerbutisbeingheldbackbytheconflictswithinhisfamily–hisinterferingmother(MelissaLeo)andhissisters,aswellashiscrack-addictedbrotherDicky(ChristianBale),himselfaformerboxingchampion.Spottinghispotential,boxingpromotersofferMicky thechance totrainandcompeteprofessionallyinLasVegas.Withhiscompetitivedestinybeckoning,Mickyissplitthreewaysandmustchoosebetweenhisnewgirlfriend(AmyAdams),hisfamilyandhisowndreams.
