CCA Bonus Points
ADMISSION TO POST-SECONDARY
INSTITUTIONS
At the end of the graduation year, students’
co-curricular attainment will be recognised
according to Excellent/Good/Fair. The level
of attainment will be converted to a bonus
point(s) which can be used for admission to
Junior Colleges/Polytechnics/Institutes of
Technical Education. (Refer to Student
Diary or CCA Webpage)
Direct School Admission (ITE, JCs,
Polys)
• Students can gain admission to courses
in JCs, ITEs and Polytechnics via DSA if they
can show strong aptitude, leadership or
talents in Performing Arts , sports or interest
areas, before GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ level results are
released, on condition they meet the eligibility
criteria.

How you can partner us
• Monitor your child’s participation. Check for letters and notifications issued by CCA teachers.
• Refer to the CCA webpages for the CCA’s yearly programme
• Schedule tuition and enrichment activities on weekends if possible.
• If your child is sick or unable to attend CCA, ask your child to produce MC or inform their CCA teacher the next working day.
• CCA Is compulsory (unlike Pri Sch)
• Absence from CCA is a serious offence-
Skipping of Lessons (Detention Class + Demerit
Points)
• Parents letter may be accepted on a case-
by-case basis
• Late-coming for CCA (remedial)- To get
teacher to sign late slip (obtained from
General Office)
