The Spenserian Stanza
The Spenserian stanza is a fixed verse form.
Each stanza contains nine lines in total: eight lines in iambic pentameter followed by a single 'Alexandrine' line in iambic hexameter.
The rhyme scheme of these lines is "ababbcbcc."
