This is part of the SQA exam – worth 20% of your grade!

Everyone sitting Int. 2 History will have to research and write this essay.

You will write this essay under exam conditions.

It will be marked by the SQA.

The exam will last one hour.

In this time you are expected to write 1,000 words.

take a plan of 150 words into the exam to help you

You will sit this exam around March.

Between now and then you must

1. Select a question

2. Draw up a 5 point plan

3. Research your answer (using a range of sources)

4. Write a rough draft and have it checked.

1. Before Christmas – Choose Q and write the 5 point plan.

• Thursday 8th February – First draft due.

• March – Exam date tbc.
