COPIC INTENSIVE CLASS SERIES In this comprehensive two part class you will learn from our Copic Certified Instructor, Carol, how to go from novice to expert in the use of Copic Markers.   Each student will be given a comprehensive 12 chapter manual with detailed chapters explaining all information covered in the class.  Such a valuable resource to have for future use!  Class fee covers both classes and the manual (binder not provided). $60 COPICS-THE BASICS: In this class we will share with you our experience and knowledge of Copic Markers. Why are they different? How do you buy them? What colors should I choose? We will work together to answer all your questions, while we enjoy time together stamping and coloring. Together we will cover all the basics, plus coloring techniques, caring for your markers tips and tricks tutorials. Discover the world of Copic Markers while taking this class. Check back in January. COPICS-THE NEXT LEVEL: Now that you have completed THE BASICS Copic class, join us while we take your knowledge of Copic Markers to the next level. We will learn to color skin and hair, as well as jeans and clothing types. You will learn about shadows and light source too. How to color monochromatic, fur and shiny objects will be discussed. So much information!! After this class, you will feel more confident in the use of your markers. We hope that you will continue to practice new color combinations and techniques to advance your skills. Check back in January.

WATERCOLOR STAMPING-PART 1: Do you love the look of a soft watercolored image? Need a new love or obsession in your life? This is it!!! I will be teaching a new stamping/watercolor class here at The Station. I am completely obsessed with my new little works of art! The beauty is that you don't have to be an artist or practiced stamper to create these pieces of art! I will take you step-by-step to create watercolor scenes that you will be proud to give as framed gifts to those special people, or as cute cards to those card worthy friends! You will create two watercolor scenes, with instructions to recreate each. We will be using the latest and greatest awesome designs by Art Impressions. Those of you who stamp with me know that I love this company! I am confident that you will absolutely love and enjoy this class! So bring your favorite adhesive, and we will supply the rest. WATERCOLOR STAMPING-PART 2: Take your watercolor skills to the next level in this class with Carol. Carol is going to teach you how to stamp and color in your stamped images so that your stamp lines disappear. TECHNIQUE TUESDAY: I'd like to invite you to a class taught by me…Tammy! It’s a monthly technique class in which we will be making a gorgeous, fun, tag every month. These tags can be kept, with your notes on the back about how you made and it and the products used or they can be displayed every month at home (they are lovely art pieces!) or they can given away as gift tags! Each month we will be using the newest products available to teach you how to use them and

each month’s tag will be appropriate to the season or holiday. Hopefully you’ll love the products used so much that you will want some of your own! The basics we ask you to bring to class are: apron, scissors, wet & dry adhesive, foam dots & sticky dots. NOVEMBER:: This month we will be learning to use the new Art Alchemy wax's from Anna Dubrowska. This stuff is magical! It can turn pretty much any surface into beautiful sheen, metallic and subtle glitter finishes. We begin with a large tag and learn how to use multiple products and techniques. You will go home with a pretty finished tag and have learned something new. Every one has been chomping at the bit to get their hands on this incredible product, so join me in class and see for yourself. BIBLE JOURNALING 101- INTRODUCTION: In this intro class, we will cover the basics and purpose of Bible Journaling and how to incorporate art into your understanding of the Bible. A journaling Bible is NOT needed for this class, but if you already have one feel free to bring it! You will be introduced to the wide range of journaling Bibles, art materials (pencil crayons, stamps, stickers, cut-outs, etc) and the growing number of products available to help you illustrate your faith. Samples will be displayed to inspire your own creative journey. And finally, we will spend time creating one bible journaling page based off of a devotional and following the step by step outline provided in your handout. By the end of class you will have experimented with a variety of bible journaling tools and have started your own Bible Journaling journey! $20 Skill level: Any skill level. Thursday, December 7th at 10:00 AM & 6:00 PM

BIBLE JOURNALING-ADVANCED: In this class we will take an in depth look at the artistic side of Bible Journaling. Through hands on experimenting we will learn Page Composition (focal point/ color scheme & space), Page Preparation, Art Techniques (tools, tips & texture), and the use of different Art Mediums (acrylic paint, watercolor paint & gelatos). We will also touch on how to incorporate decorative designs, hand lettering and the print and copy method into your finished page. You will be sing the techniques taught in class to create a page based on the verse you have selected. Class supplies needed: A journaling Bible & favorite verse to experiment with. $20 Skill level: Bible Journaling 101-INTRO class recommended as a prerequisite . BIBLE JOURNALING-HAND LETTERING: In this class, we will learn the anatomy of a letter and the basics of faux calligraphy. We will also learn techniques to turn your own handwriting into a work of art! You will also learn the art of mixing fonts and how to incorporate alpha stamps or stickers into your bible journaling or hand lettering projects. By breaking down a selected verse, you will learn how to highlight the important words and get your point across. The use of decorative designs such as laurels, arrows, flowers, banners (& more) is a must to enhance important words and a simple way to add artistic flare to your writing pieces. $20 Skill level: Any skill level Thursday, December 21st at 10:00 AM & 6:00 PM

GARDEN CLUB: For our December garden club we will be shaping poinsettias. With a real Christmas feel to our pallet of greens, reds and golds these flowers will be center stage. I always plan a little extra something new to try, so look forward to finding out what that will be. Part 2: Design Theory In this class we will cover designing with color, structure, line and balance. We will discuss the use of a color wheel and a few basic rules of working with patterned paper. Part 3: Finishing Touches This class will cover titles, journaling and all of the fun touches that make our pages appealing and complete. We will cover why and how to journal and brainstorm creative titles. We will touch on Copic Markers, inks, stamping, dry embossing and a number of other fun to-do techniques that will give you that finishing touch on your pages. Crop Room Guidelines

We very much enjoy being able to offer such a fantastic work space for all our customers and we hope that you enjoy the advantages we offer you. Please help us be able to continue offering these services by cooperating with the guidelines mentioned below. Thank you for helping us maintain a stress free and fun, place to be!

When there is a scheduled class or crop only registered participants are allowed to be in the workshop area. Please refrain from entering the area until the class is completely over. It is distracting to both the teacher and the paid students to have other people in the workshop area during classes. This means you cannot crop, layout photos or set up your gear during class time. Please wait until after the class has been dismissed to enter the workshop area.

Non BPC Cropper Members coming to crop during open table time will pay $2.00 an hour for use of workshop.

Any person occupying a seat at a crop or class must pay for that crop or class. There is no such thing as a “guest” at a crop or class who does not have to pay. If one exception is made, others would expect them and then there would be mass confusion and we would have too many people in the crop area, making it uncomfortable for everyone else that is paying to be there.

On Friday nights open crop time will end at 6:00 PM so that the staff has time to prepare the workshop for the Midnighter Crop.

Demo day this month is going to be so much fun. We will be getting to work with Debbi Moore’s new Print Magic embossing powder. Print Magic is an ultra-fine embossing powder that can be used with fine detailed rubber stamps.  We will be using Print Magic Midnight Blue to create this beautiful card for Christmas.   The Midnight Blue shows up beautifully against the black image we’re working with.   You will be amazed at the results.  

Product of The Month American Crafts have come out with a second Thickers Alignment Guide set that complements the first set. These guides do complete shapes for circles, ovals and hexagons to help you align your alphabet stickers or to do handwritten journaling. All three guides can be used on the inside and the outside surfaces and there are several lines for multiple size applications. The oval varies from 6”-8”, the hexagon from 3.75” – 4.25”, and the circle 4”-6”. Each guide folds in half for storage so you can keep them right with your other set of Thickers Alignment Tools! 25% off this month for all Boarding Pass Club members!

Silhouette & Cameo Classes SILHOUETTE CAMEO BEGINNER CLASS: The Silhouette SD and Cameo digital craft cutters are perfect for cutting shapes and letters to use on your scrapbook pages, cards, and more! The QuicKutz Silhouette SD machine requires a PC with Windows 2000 (or higher) OR a Mac. Via the internet you get instant access to a huge digital design collection. The Silhouette SD and Cameo machines allow you to cut any TrueType font on your computer, create your own designs, and cut clip art already on your computer. Plus, you can use a variety of mediums with your Silhouette machine, including cardstock, patterned paper, magnetic paper, vellum, vinyl, and more. At this class the beginner will learn the basics of using the Silhouette SD or Cameo machine. SILHOUETTE PROJECT CLASS: For the next Silhouette Project class I will be teaching you how to make very, very, large 3 dimensional flowers.  These flowers are all the rage on Pinterest.  They’re being used as photo backdrops, decorations  for showers and weddings and they look  beautiful surrounding a window.  When researching how to make these I found people that were cutting out the petals by hand and thought making these on the Silhouette Cameo would be a breeze.  So come to the next Silhouette Project class and see how easy this is.   UPCOMING DATES: Wednesday, November 29th at 6:00 PM

Carol’s Comments Hi guys!  We have LOTS of new stamps and dies in the store that you absolutely should come in and add to your collection!  Stamping Bella has CUTE Halloween stamps and matching dies that are just perfect for making Halloween cards or just adding a bit of whimsy on a Halloween scrapbook page.  We have quite a few new Brutus Monroe and My Favorite Things stamp sets that are awesome for cardmakers…great images to color in!  There are new stamps from Concord & 9th and Stampendous and from Tim Holtz! There are a variety of fall and Christmas stamps among all of these new sets.  Let's face it.  You NEED to come in and see all of this new stuff!  You will be overwhelmed with creative ideas and want to buy everything!  See you soon!

Tammy’s Techniques If you like the look of hand drawn doodling but don't want to spend the time, I've got you covered. From Ranger and Dyan Reaveley are 12” stencil and stamp combo's that you will just love. Perfect for scrapbookers or mixed media artists. They also bring you other large stencils in alphabets and cool designs. What I'm really pleased to see from Dyan are six new paints and sprays in pretty muted tones. I can't wait to get my hands on all these new products, so look for them in one of my upcoming Technique Tuesday classes.

Kathie’s Karousel Have you been on the fence about getting a Silhouette Cameo 3? Now is the time to go for it.  The Silhouette Cameo 3 has all of the same capabilities as the previous versions along with some added features. The Cameo 3 features a dual-carriage so you can use two tools at once, it features Bluetooth technology and to top it all off, the CAMEO 3 is compatible with Silhouette’s new AutoBlade so no more changing your blade settings manually.  We have had this newest version of the Cameo 3 since it came out, but what we just got in this month are two special Cameos.   What’s different about these Cameos are the colors of them.  We have the black Cameo 3 and the pink Cameo 3.  The Pink Cameo  is only available for a limited time (September 2017 - November 2017) a portion of the proceeds for specially marked pink CAMEO units sold will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation  in honor of National Breast Cancer  Awareness month. So your purchase of the pink Cameo will help prevent breast cancer. The black Cameo 3 is also limited edition color.  The black is just gorgeous and will look fabulous in your craft room.  And since this is a limited edition we will probably sell out quickly of this version, so get in before they’re gone.

Stamp A Stack Who doesn’t love sending, or more importantly, receiving a handmade card? Join us for a day of creativity and fun using all the latest stamping products to make handmade greeting cards. You will be making four simple, yet, beautiful cards…two of each...for a total of eight...to have on hand for that special occasion. All supplies will be provided except for adhesive, so be sure to bring your favorite with you the day of the event.

November 11th You can come anytime between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm to make your cards. We are here all day to assist you with your creations. In addition, open cropping is available on this day, but space will be limited, so calling ahead is recommended. Cost of the Stamp A Stack event is $15.00. We are so very excited to host our semi-annual ScrapAway at Mt. Chestnut NazareneCenter in Butler, PA. This retreat is for ladies who wish to avoid the circus-like atmosphere of large scrapbook vacations or conventions & concentrate on making friends & scrapping the weekend away. At our retreat you'll get plenty of work space! You won't feel like a sardine when scrapping with us.

We offer four packages: a 4 day and a 3 day package both with or without lodging. We offer fabulous meals, lodging, a commemorative ScrapAway T-Shirt, and a luxury class. Our rates are fantastic compared to other retreats. The Mt. Chestnut Nazarene Camp’s gymnasium facility and rooms with private baths* offer the utmost in conference center convenience, while maintaining an affordable cost!
