Allegories of the Book: Romeo and Juliet
BY: William Shakespeare
Night Is one of the allegories in the book of Romeo and Juliet. If you could see, all of the love scenes happen during the night like the Capulet’s party. The nights seen to protect both Romeo and Juliet from rules that might separate them. In the night their love is freer. In the other hand, the daylight makes the Verona guys fight instead.
“Light” One of the allegories can be seen as the light if the story. Romeo always called Juliet as the sun rising from the darkness or that her eyes shine like stars. Juliet also calls Romeo’s body as cut out in little stars. These flashes of light can be symbolized as Juliet’s’ and Romeos’ love and strength toward maintaining their relationship that are always present throughout the book.
