The longest running streak in history has ended, regrettably, this week after more

than 50 years one runner from the north west of 1: _________ failed to complete his

Ron Hill who is from Accrington in North-West England was disappointed to have

and worse. I just made it to one mile in 16 minutes and 34 seconds” said Mr Hill.

Ron Hill’s long running streak of more than 50 years is even more impressive as he

has run at least one mile a day despite being in a bad car crash in 1993 when he

Yet the same day, Mr Hill completed his one mile around a local school running
