I have designed this model as a proposal. I have created this model to move the education system forward into a new focus of learning. Often there can be too much focus on Subject Knowledge and Attainment leaving the important attributes as a footnote.

My first thought was ‘what is the role of a teacher?’, this led to the statement below and that sparked the construction of this model...

‘we should extract the best potential of any person and make it a reality through development’

OUTCOME

At Stage One learners start basic development and their immersion into education. By the age of 5 they will have a strong foundation in how to learn and how to express ideas.

APPROACH

Through play and social values = Age 3

Through play and social values with introduction to subject knowledge = By age 4

Through play and social values with developing subject knowledge = By age 5

OUTCOME

At Stage Two learners continue immersion into education and subjects with a move towards empowerment. By the age of 8 they will be confident with their own abilities.

APPROACH

Through (SLE), Values and developing subject knowledge = Age 6

Through (SLE), Values and an increase of heavier subject knowledge = By age 7

Through (SLE), Values and the beginning of shifting towards a creativity focus = By age 8

At Stage Three learners are immersed into education and subjects and are now at a level of empowerment to begin adaption and use own philosophy within a real world context.

APPROACH

Through (SLE), Values, Subject knowledge and (S4L), applying self to world = By age 11
