FRED INTERNATIONAL“They bring together an impeccably curated collection of Scandinavian furniture. Their Rosebery showroom (they’ve just expanded to Melbourne, too) is only small, presented as gorgeous apartment vignettes. It’s a really beautiful space with super beautiful product to boot.”Visit: The Cannery, 85 Dunning Ave, Rosebery, (02) 9310 3263.Bookmark: fredinternational.com.au.
sophie gannon gallery“Her stable of artists is incredible. The art she represents expresses
the element of surprise that I love in an interior space. For me, a beautiful interior will always have a talking point, something that is a bit unusual, and art is a really interesting way to achieve that.”

“I DON’T HAVE A PARTICULAR INTERIOR STYLE THAT I SUBSCRIBE TO. I’M QUITE ECLECTIC AND A BIT OF A WEIRDO – I CAN GET QUITE EXCITED BY PECULIAR THINGS THAT DON’T
IMMEDIATELY MAKE SENSE” - Dana

WHITE RABBIT“The gallery is architecturally monumental in parts and the art itself is always stunning. It’s a really inspiring place, and also a bit left of field, which I love – you never know what you’re
going to see there. The space completely transforms around the exhibition, demonstrating the power of the installation,
which is a cool thing to experience.”Visit: 30 Balfour St, Chippendale, (02) 8399 2867.

muji“Muji is a little unsung hero – they’re a little bit like the Japanese
version of Ikea. I really love all of their mundane objects, like glass jars, brooms, stationery, coathangers and the little things –
utilitarian, minimalist objects – that make day-to-day life joyous. I have this great timber tray from there, which I love; it’s the
best thing ever and it was only $30!”Visit: Stores in Melbourne and Sydney, and globally.

ARTEDOMUS“This is a great place for bathroom products and high-end materials and finishes. The showroom sets a benchmark for a beautiful display of bathroom products which, traditionally, I don’t think is done very well. It’s really quite special.”Visit: Showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.Bookmark: artedomus.com.
tait“Tait is another great Australian brand, specialising in outdoor
furniture. They make things that are perfectly suited for Australia, whereas a lot of imported stuff doesn’t actually stand the test of our harsh climate – it’s not quite hardcore enough because
our sun is pretty intense.”Visit: Showrooms in Sydney and Melbourne.
