Planning has begun! Mentors held an amazing mentor retreat on a Sunday. The retreat helped build relationships between mentors and introduced new mentors to the larger principles of DREAM and its many goals for mentors and mentees. Friday programming was TREMENDOUS!!! See below for details. Participants Mentees Mentors Total: 20 Total: 23 Females: 9 Females: 18 Males: 11 Males: 5 Weekly Programming with Children Mentors and mentees spent a Friday playing games and rotating between arts and craft stations on campus. The group was hosted by studio art majors at the pottery studio. Mentors and mentees took turns making pots and bowls on the pottery wheels and molding clay into creative shapes. Senior Thomas Huang organized an ice skating trip for the group who all stepped out of their comfort zones to give it a try! Thank you for your ongoing support of DREAM.
