Dedication

I dedicate this book to my reading buddy Valentina. Keep on reading!

There was once a Westie named Valentina. She lives in New York with a very nice owner and goes to the dog park every day!

One day after a nice time in the dog park Valentina was sitting in her doghouse looking out the window resting. Then saw something caught her eye, a human gliding in special shoes across the sidewalk! " WOW, that looks so cool, those shoes are screaming my name!" She thought.

Then, while going downstairs to the kitchen for a drink she saw the same kind of shoes the human was using to glide across the sidewalk!

At first she thought did this human come for dinner? Then the testing began, Valentina stuck her small head into the large boot. It smelled like her owner! She was so lucky to have these boots in her house!

Then her owner noticed her interest in the boots and went on the computer and ordered American Girl R-O-L-L-E-R-B-L-A-D-E-S. She was so excited! Valentina was going to get her own bladey-thingys. Her owner is nicer than a fresh new bone!

When they arrived, Valentina was barking with joy! Then her owner took her to the park. When they arrived at the park, her owner taught her how to blade. At first she was really bad.

Page 7

While practicing the older dogs made fun of her by saying" You are so weird! You are trying to accomplish a human-like sport! Face it doggie, you are not a good rollerblader." Valentina felt very sad.

Later she decided to ignore those mean dogs and practiced more and more at the park, and every time she got better and better.

Page 9

Soon she was barking in those mean dogs faces because it was her last day of practice at the park. Tomorrow she will be traveling to London for the Pro-Doggie Olympics.

In the end she learned to Follow Her Dreams.
