For years of chair existence more than 600 scientific research works were published, more than 50 inventor’s certificates and 7 patents of KZ Republic were received. The chair was awarded with the golden medal of the International Invention Exhibition in Geneva (1994) for a technological project on theuse of radiation methods in powder metallurgy.

SARSEMBINOV READINGS

THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMM OF THE CONFERENCE

Oral reports (15 minutes) selected by program committee on the basis of their originality and the importance will be included in the program of conference in following basic directions in the field of actual problems of condensed states physics:

Processes of structurization;Structurally phase transformations;Electronic processes;Stimulated processes;nanotechnologies;nanomaterials.

The scientific conference devoted the memory of academician of NAS of RK Sarsembinov Sh.Sh. (Sarsembinov readings) «Modern problems of the condensed state physics, nanotechnology and nanomaterials» will be held at the Physics faculty of Kazakh national university of al-Farabi.

The Readings will take place 18-19th May, 2009 in RSI ETP of al-Farabi KazNU. Registration will take place in the assembly hall of RSI ETF from 900 to 1000 am. Opening of the Sarsembinov readings will be at 1000 am.

Molecular dynamics work for construction of nanotubular probe for creation of atomic-force microscope with ultrahigh resolution and investigation of the processes occurring in the pattern area, directly adjacent to the probe tip

More complicated nanosystems are calculated using quantum-mechanical approaches. One of the examples is presented in thefigure. This is nano sandwich metal-UNT-metal engineered by themethod of molecular orbitals (MO LCAO). Such elements arepromising for use in the creation of new light and ultrastrongcomposite materials. They can be potentially applied in theelectronic nanodevises.
