This Eco Friendly Dome has been developed and built by Dingley Dell Enterprises and it has patents pending on its building process and design concepts. Dome living is at the centre of the concept. Domes provide maximum floor space for minimal material use.They are incredibly strong and fast to build, they can be build to comply with U.K building regulations as habitable structures .Multiple domes can be joined together to give a unique living experience.Domes can be built with unparalleled insulation and an as a result use a minimum of energy to heat or cool.

Dome size: 6m wide 3.5 m high 28.5 sm floor space

Dome composition: 2cm GRC grade 10 outer shell with 1cm GRC fire

resistant inner shell

Insulation: Polyurethane foam, walls 6.5cm roof 8cm floor 2.5cm

Floor detail: Hard core, plastic membrane, 25 mm polyurethane

foam, 100mm gen 3 concrete.

Structural support: Gen 3 concrete raft 100mm to comply with Current

UK Building regulations for habitable dwellings.

Weight of Dome: 3.5 ton

Weight of floor slab: 5.5 ton 100mm thick

Total approximately: 9 ton

Window and door frames: GRP with 14mm double glazing

Exterior finish: Tyrolean pigmented waterproof GRC

Speed of construction : Depending on the specification required, it will take

approximately 2 weeks to construct one of the 6m

domes. Domes are not prefabricated they are built on

site.

Note : Specification for low cost housing will be different

from above details. *Under the 2009 revised permitted development order. The 6 m dome can be built in many UK gardens without planning permission or building Regulations provided that the conditions of the regulation are met and the building is used for incidental enjoyment.
