FOUNDATION
NMMC officers and members
donated 30 books to the
Accounting Library of University
of Caloocan City, Camarin. UCC
represented by the following
officers: Dra. Shirley Saragcon,
Dean of College of Business and
Accountancy; Dr. Melhor
Julianes, Vice-President of UCC
Student Affairs; Prof. Ammie
Barawid, JPIA Advisers were so
grateful because the donation
answered the book shortage of
the library. It was heartbreaking
to hear when Dra. Zen told the
group that most of the students
only depend on photocopies
since they could hardly afford to
purchase even one Accounting
book. The impact made to the
lives of these Accounting
Students were magnanimous
and hopefully would better their
lives due to the charity made by
the chapter. The Donate-A-Book
program was something deeply
thought and care of by the
officers. And our group hope
through this simple contribution it
would be one step closer to
everyone’s dream of being a
“CPA”.
