A declarative sentence its one that make a declaration or makes a statement

DECLARATIVE
A type of sentence that expresses strong feelings by making an exclamation
Example
Keep hope alive!
EXCLAMATORY
A type of sentence that asks a question.
Example
What is your favorite color?
INTERROGATIVE
A type of sentence that gives advice or instructions or that expresses a request or command
Example
Leave the jacket take the sweater.
IMPERATIVE
A simple sentence is a sentence structure that contains one independent clause and one dependent clause.
Example
He took the dog off the chain.
SIMPLE
A complex sentence is one with one independent clause and at least one dependent clause.
Example
When I got a credit card I began spending money recklessly.
COMPLEX
A compound sentence is composed of at least two independent clauses and it does not require a dependent
clause.
Example
My music was playing loud so I didn’t hear the phone ring.
COMPOUND
A compound-complex sentence contains two or more independent clauses and at least one dependent clause.
Example
Alison filled a bag while we waited, and drove to the station
