Dear CornerStone Family,
At our recent board meeting we had the joyful opportunity toapprove and comission Cris and Daniela Jones out as our newestlong-term missionaries. They will be working in Shell, Ecuador asassociates with Young Life International. Theirs is an evangelisticministry to street kids. They do this by hosting club trips, adven-tures and camps in the national parks of Ecuador. They alsohold weekly meetings in town. We are talking to otherapplicants as well so we thank Jesus for these willing hearts.
I reported to the board on my trip to Uganda and South Sudanto visit Amanda Samrani. Right after I left, South Sudan had a
coup attempt by a disgruntled general in the S. Sudan armynamed Machar. His tribe is Nuer and the presidents is Dinka. These two tribes have a long history of territorial conflict. It hasthe potential to explode into a civil war. My takeGod lovesthe tribe but He hates tribalism.
We are up to 50some missionaries now! Since there are only around 300,000 of you guys onthe entire planet this is something to be thankful for. May God receive all the glory and all thepraise.

Hetravels state-side and speaks in many Indonesianchurches/fellowships and is active with numer-ous university campuses ministering to Muslimstudents.

We are SO looking forward to seeing you at the Summit and sharing JOY!Dr Jim Wilder is coming to speak to us about joyful community. Here at theoffice and CI-HOP we have listened to Dr Wilders Joy Bonds CDs and arenow going through this book, Joy Starts Here. It is practical, relational, scien-tific and Biblical information and how-to about living in real joy (not the pseudo,everything-is-fine stuff). He is a missionary kid and really wants to share his ex-perience and knowledge in building joyful, cross-cultural communities.
Dr. Wilder has asked us all to go through this book in preparation for the Summit. Please be think-ing and praying about how you can do that, preferably with a group. We may be able to offer abook discount and/or a private, online group for those of you who do not have fellow missionariesclose. Check out:www.joystartshere.orgfor a free chapter download and more info...
Blessings to you all,
