    Proposal.

    QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

    1. Please note that the deadline for receipt of all responses is July 16, 2020 at 12PM at

    [email protected]. The CGA reserves the right to reject any proposal responses received

    after the above referenced date and time.

    2. Is there a listing of what is to be submitted in the proposal responses?

    Part D of the Request For Proposal includes a list of required elements that respondents must include in

    all proposal responses. Any proposal response not including these elements is subject to

    disqualification.

    3. Can the CGA Contracting Group please provide the various pricing received and/or bid tabulation

    issued in response to the “Indices to the 2016, 2018 and 2020 Supplements to the General Statutes and

    the 2017 and 2019 Official Statutes of Connecticut” RFP (JCLM15REG0018)?

    Yes, please see ATTACHMENT I.

    4. The RFP includes Attachment B. Proposal Checklist. However, Part D.2.4 Forms does not list it as

    something that needs to be included with our response. Do we need to include the Proposal Checklist

    with our response?

    Yes, please include and complete Attachment B – Proposal Checklist with the corresponding proposal

    pages to each proposal element similarly to a Table of Contents.

    5. Can the CGA please provide the current pricing for the preparation of the Indices for the Supplement

    and the Official General Statutes of Connecticut

    6. Can the CGA please provide sample electronic pages of the 2020 Supplement Index and the 2019

    General Statutes Index?

    8. Can the state provide us with a copy of the current index (2020, the one we are to update for 2021), in

    either Cindex format or a tab-delimited format?

    No, not at this time.

    9. If awarded this contract, would it be possible to receive the index no later than 6 weeks ahead of the

    start of indexing work?

    This request may be possible, but not guaranteed. A special session index may require a quicker

    turnaround time.
