    THE VIRUS: A CAUTIOUS APPROACH

As noted last week at Mass, several decisions

have been passed down from the Cardinal

regarding the new virus and mass attendance.

    1. The cup is suspended.

    2. The Kiss of Peace is suspended.

    3. Communicants are asked to receive in the

    hand, not the tongue.

    4. If anyone feels attending Mass is of serious

concern for their health, the obligation to attend

is suspended for now. Let us continue to pray for

a resolution to this pandemic that will allevi-

    ate our nervousness.

permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two

smaller meals that together are not equal to a full

meal. The norms concerning abstinence from meat
