Tanzania Thanks You!
Pastor Gervase writes: “… I wanted to thank you for your good cooperation, following the success of clearing the Tanzania
Container safely and in time without any storage or any addition charges, may God bless you. We are now doing distribution and will be taking pictures ....I also want to take this time to inform you that the need (demand) is very high while the supply is low, this I mean that we need more Contain-ers carrying Books for Bible Colleges, Church Libraries, Christian Book centers etc. …” “I want to thank you so very much for your desire to assist our Country with Christian Literature for free distribution. Many of Pastors can not afford to attend Bible colleges/Bible schools because of too much (sic) and expensive... it is very difficult for the Village Pastors to leave their families, con-gregations and go far to attend Bible Colleges, ...but giving them Bibles, books for their own study-ing helps them to learn…”
Pastor Elias writes: “Dear brother in Christ… Here in Mwanza we are fine, we still (sic) going on
with book and Bible distribution. Many people are blessed so much with your wonderful books. We thank God for you brother and for the CLA. We pray for you all. ...We thank God because we re-ceived the books and Bibles safely. Also we thank God for you … the great work you (sic) done for the souls of Tanzania and East Africa”.
Mike and Julie
One of the choruses we sang during our years in Africa was, “Give what you give, give it unto the Lord”. The Africans sang the words with great joy as they would dance to place their gifts in the offering basket. Those words have come back to me as I think on our love for Christ and the kingdom. In the last newsletter, I expressed deep appreciation for all the supporters of CLA. I continue to thank God for you and your generosity. We faced a big challenge a few months ago and donors stepped up to see us through, for those we say a BIG “THANK YOU”. However, due to a new development, we are faced with an addi-tional challenge. I hesitate to address the issue, but I feel it is important as we come to the close of another year and seek your help as God directs you. In regard to this new challenge, we seek your prayerful support. We believe this mat-ter will be resolved over the next weeks as your join us in prayer for God has used
CLA to impact Africa for close to 30 years. He knows the way forward as we partner together. You have been an important team member. I know we can count on you in these days to share an extra prayer or give a little extra on behalf of CLA. Any and all prayers and gifts are appreciated. Remember—you are impact-ing an African leader and leaving a legacy for eternity by “giving what you give, as unto the Lord”. Please take the enclosed envelop or click the link and go online at www.christianlitforafrica.org to give your “gift as unto the Lord”. You will continue to impact the kingdom and support the training and equipping of Africans—making a difference for eternity.
