3. Commitments Made.

a. Every leader must come to the meeting with the support and authority of the church.

b. The Leaders sign a Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.).

4. Prayer Practices Begin in the

Churches.

a. The participating church must pray.b. Pray for the location to plant the

church.c. Pray for the lead planter.d. Hold join “Prayer Meetings”e. Pray over an area (Legacy Village

Example)

5. Determine Where to Plant the Church.

a. Location often influences the type of planter needed.

b. Location should be agreed upon by the network leaders.

6. Determine the Lead Planter Profile.

a. Ridley’s 13 Key Factors.b. Contextual factors based upon

the location.

7. Put a Management Team in Place.

a. Each major church and party should be represented.

b. Chairman should be knowledgeable about Church Growth and good Church Leadership practices.

8. Search For and Find the Church Planter.

a. Prayer is the key.b. Look for good leads, especially

successful student ministers and others.c. The leader you want is not likely

“looking.”d. The Planter must pass a formal

assessment before hire.

9. Secure Training and Coaching for the Planter.

a. Bootcamp Equipping Lab – Church Coaching Solutions (other groups too) – must contain segment on Restoration Movement Theology.

b. Church Plant Coach-Mentor – Successful experience and training in “Coaching” (CCS).

c. Stadia Planters – Project Management Guide – Passion 4 Planting (required if Stadia provides funds).

10. Get the Planter on the Ground.

a. Planter should move to location six months before launch (most launches only need six months).

b. Planter should go to Equipping Lab shortly after he is hired, even before moving to location.

11. Get the Plant to Share the Vision with Partner

Churches.

a. Helps Network Churches “buy in” to project.

b. Helps surface launch team members.

c. May not be viable if Network Church are far apart.

12. Planter Builds a Launch Team.

a. Launch Team, not Core (insider language later).

b. Network Churches send resources and maybe even people.

13. The Church Launches.

a. Network Leaders send representatives for the Launch.

b. Launch celebrated in all Network Churches (Video created for that purpose).

14. Ongoing Training and Support.

a. The Management team supports the staff.

b. Training and collaboration encouraged.

c. Lead planter joins the CPN or helps start new CPN.

15. We Do It Again.

a. The goal is to plant churches, not a church.

b. Some Networks can multiply and bring in new churches.
