This year’s convention theme is: “Fresh Anointing”

The Hebrew word is Messiah and in the Greek it’sChrist. Christ is in the New Testament 509 times and itmeans – ‘the anointed one.’ The Lord anointed HisSon - for a purpose!

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hathanointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hathsent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preachdeliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight tothe blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Topreach the acceptable year of the Lord. - Luke 4:18-19God also anoints His people - for a purpose!

But the anointing which ye have received of himabideth in you, and ye need not that any man teachyou: but as the same anointing teacheth you of allthings, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hathtaught you, ye shall abide in him. - 1 John 2:27As we go through life, we speak of experiencing “up’sand down’s” as we serve the Lord. Fortunately, theLord is ready and waiting to pour a fresh anointingupon those who will look to Him, and who will meet theconditions to receive His anointing.

We need His fresh anointing, as individuals servingHim, and collective as His Church.
