Jesus ‘tightens’ the constraints of the

law (v28) Surely all are guilty!

God cares about our hearts.

God requires purity & faithfulness right down to our hearts & minds

(v27-28)

1. Come to Jesus on our knees2. Daily repentance – turning away from

sin for our own wellbeing.

Jesus’ call to purity & faithfulness calls for drastic

measures (v29-30)

kingdom’s values today.
