Poor People’s Dinner The annual Poor People’s Dinner, sponsored by Project Hospitality, will be held on Monday, No-vember 19, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn. Tickets are $75 each, $50 for Senior Citizens and $35 for students. If you would like to attend, please call the parish office. There will be a second collection next weekend, mandated by the Archdiocese of New York for the Catholic Charities campaign for charity and justice. Thank you for your generosity.

The bread and wine used at Mass this week, at both the Church of the Assumption and the Church of St. Peter is donated by Helen and John Cichon in loving memory of John D. Von Zuben.

2019 MASS BOOKS

The books for Mass intentions for St. Peter and Assumption Churches will be opened on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Please call the rectory or stop in that day or thereafter if you would like particu-lar dates. Please DO NOT ask for particular dates before that date. We will not hold dates before Decem-ber 4th. First come, first served.

Thanksgiving Dinner Celebration

On Wednesday November 21, 2018, a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner will be served at St. Peter-St. Paul School, 129 Clinton Avenue). Come celebrate with your parish family. Dinner will be served from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dessert will follow. It will help greatly if you would call the rectory by No-vember 15, 2018 to confirm your attendance, so we will be prepared to serve everyone. Come break bread with us on November 21st.

The parish celebration of Thanksgiving is in need of your help. The committee is seeking cooks, servers and cleaners to keep our Thanksgiving Dinner tradi-tion alive.
