ACT I – Coming To America 1964 was a year of change and confusion for America, still mourning the death of President Kennedy and waiting for new hope. On the Ed Sullivan show, the country experienced a new beginning as they were introduced to John, Paul, George and Ringo. ACT II – Growing and Changing By late 1965, the “mop-top quartet” was growing out of their ‘pop’ image and were beginning to be influenced by other artists, cultures and their own developing minds. The year premiered their second film, in color. Their hectic touring schedule was becoming intolerable, feeling that their music was not heard over the thousands of screaming fans. By August of 1966 they concluded that to stop touring and to record was the only way to grow in their newly discovered musical interests. ACT III – Psychedelia In 1967 the drug culture was in full swing. A peaceful outlook and the beginning of Flower Power was in the air around the world. More creative time was being spent in the recording studio experimenting with new sounds and recording techniques. These times led The Beatles to produce albums Magical Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine as well as one of the era’s most influential landmark albums, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. ACT IV – End of An Era 1968/1969 was a time of turmoil, riots and war. The sixties were coming to and end, as was this musical phenomenon. Under the pressures of growing apart, having individual projects, wants and needs, a slow deterioration began. Studio hours became longer and more drawn out as more distractions entered their lives. Yet, they still released No. 1 selling albums and singles which continued to represent the changing world. He performs with John Waite and Phoebe Show as well as the Hudson River Rats with Bernard Purdie. Korba’s uncanny portrayal of “the quiet Beatle” is enhanced by his onstage demeanor, accurate guitar and piano solos. His performances from Roll Over Beethoven to Something earn the praise of fans worldwide. Joe Nocco as Ringo Starr Joe Nocco, talented musician and performer, is no stranger to the stage or screen. Performing his acclaimed portrayal of Ringo, he appeared in the televised concert for the HD release of “A Hard Days Night” as well as “The Beatles First US Visit” dvd. He also appeared in major motion picture “The US Marshal” starring Wesley Snipes.
