[CUT TO LONG-SHOT OF GIRL RUNNING PAST CHURCH] (A second, deformed, massive shadow is projected on the church wall, following behind the girl and her own shadow.} The girl runs past the church and pauses (the monster shadow pauses too, but moves an arm out towards her.) The girl spins around, looking to the wall, where only her shadow is present – uncertain, checks her phone, and keeps running.

[CUT TO FACE-ON SHOT OF GIRL RUNNING DOWN TREE TUNNEL] (lighting is getting progressively gloomier) Girl continues running, a little faster & more tensely, (muffled noise behind her) glances over her shoulder, runs faster

[CUT TO MID-SHOT OF GIRL FROM THE SIDE] The girls breathing quickens, something dark moves in the corner of her eye/the frame, runs faster still

FRIEND(malicious laughing) Scared?

GIRLJesus Christ – what the hell! You’re such an asshole. Why the

hell would you do that, you scared me to death!

FRIEND(subtly sinister – quietly) It was too easy – and don’t

exaggerate, you’re not dead (pause) yet. (Eyes flash.)
