I (we) agree that the club holding this show or obedience trial has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the show or obedience trial and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned par-ties harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the show or obedience trial premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for dam-age or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. INSTRUCTIONS

1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color). Beagles (not exceeding 13 in. over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.). Dachshunds (long-haired, smooth, wirehaired), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard), Collies (rough, smooth), 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition; Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3 . (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list . I f the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i .e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. SHOW REGULATIONS

The show site will be accessible at 4:00 PM, Friday, March 30, 2018 The show site will be accessible at 8:00 AM, on Saturday, March 31, 2018 and Sun-day, April 1, 2018. A recording fee of 50 cents will be required for each dog entered at any license or Mem-ber Club show, obedience trial or tracking test. This recording fee is to be collected by the show giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the recording fee is to be collected on the first entry only ( American Kennel Club Rules, Chapter 14, Section 2). Entry fees are $29.00 for regular classes., $26.00 for Puppy Classes and Bred By Exhib-itor. These fees include a $3.00 event fee and a 50 cent American Kennel Club record-ing fee. Sweepstakes entry fee is $15.00. Veterans classes are $15.00. Dogs entered in the American Bred Classes must have been whelped in the United States by reason of a mating which took place in the United States (American Kennel Club Rules, Chapter 6, Section 8). Foreign dogs (dogs not whelped in the USA or Canada) are eligible for Puppy and Open Classes effective, January 1, 1985. Make all checks and money orders payable in U.S. funds to the Bull Terrier Club of Dallas (BTCD) Checks or money orders must be sent with entries. Telephone, telegraph, fax and unsigned entries cannot be accepted. Entries not on offi-cial entry forms and photocopies of entry forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the official AKC entry form are not accepted. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add a col-lection fee of $25.00 to the amount of each returned check. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging may be excused. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, regardless of whoever may make such errors. No entry fee will be refunded in event of such error or cancella-tion of entries after the published closing date. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge or because of riots, civil disturbances or any other cause beyond the control of the club. The show giving club, or their members, assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children.

The bowl is presented on a tall wooden pedestal. Each year the name of the dog, its owner(s), & breeder(s) will be engraved on a plate on the base. For permanent possession, Best of Breed must be won three times by the same ex-act owner, not necessarily with the same dog, nor at consecutive shows. The tro-phy will remain in the possession of the Bull Terrier Club of Dallas until retired.
