BMW (UK) Limited of Elleseld Avenue, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG128TA(hereafter referred to as BMW) provides the customer with vehicle-specic information and support services under the nameBMW ConnectedDrive (hereinafter referred to as Services). Except

where the following description of the individual Services explicitly states#%)&8*:'&F +,- 2#&' $#% 9#11&9%F '%#8& #8 58#9&'' 94'%#=&8 20%0 B#8the Services listed here. For the provision of Serv ices for which thecollection, storage and processing of personal data is necessary, thecustomer shall be informed in advance in order to obtain his/her consent.Services are provided by means of a SIM card installed in the vehicle.Call and data-connection costs are included in the price of the Service s.Insofar as it is necessary for the substantive organisation and utilisationof the Services BMW collects, stores and processe s vehicle-related datawithin the legal stipulations.

2. BMW ConnectedDrive basic Services

The BMW ConnectedDrive basic Services TeleServices (6AE) andBMW Emergency Call (6AC) have already been activated at the pointof vehicle transfer.

a. TeleServices (6AE)

The TeleServices Service ensures the mobilit y of the customer. Ifrequired or when triggered or commissioned by the customer, thevehicles technical data (e.g. service information concerning wear parts,vehicle-status information such as check-control notications, battery-charge status, data for identifying and locating the vehicle in the eventof a breakdown) shall be transferred to BMW. In the event that a serviceis required, these items of data shall be forwarded to the respons ibleservice partner, BMW Mobile Care or respective service providers forthe purposes of making contact and arranging an appointment, wherethey shall be retained until all procedures have been properly completed.Beyond this, no data shall be forwarded to third parties . On occasiontechnical data shall be trans ferred from the vehicle to BMW where it shallbe evaluated to aid the further development of BMW products. This isknown as the Teleservice Report . This data is exclusively technical,vehicle-related data. Other data such as positioning data shall not betransferred as par t of the Teleservice Report. The TeleService BatteryGuard continuously monitors the battery-charge status of the vehicle.

If the battery-charge status falls below a xed value, the responsibleservice partner will be informed. The responsible service partner will thencontact the customer if necessary to arrange a ser vice appointment. Byregistering in the BMW ConnectedDrive Customer Portal, the customercan also be informed about a critical battery st atus by SMS message oremail, for example if the parking lights, side lights or hazards are left on.

b. BMW Emergency Call (6AC)

The vehicles identication and location is required for the use ofthe BMW Emergency Call, and it is also necessary to transmit%)& :$B#8=0%:#$ 8&
