The Black Knight from SpaceCreated by: Esoterica on July 21, flags: 76, replies: 85I was in a bookstore and was just flipping through a bargain book of weird happenings. One entry, only a couple of paragraphs long, caught my interest because I had never heard of it before. The basic blurb was that in 1957, an unknown satellite was detected shadowing the Sputnik I craft. It was in a polar orbit, something that neither the Americans or Soviets were capable of at the time. There was a statement that ham radio operaters pickd up radio transmissions that were "decoded" (whatever that means) as being a star map that indicated the craft originated from Epsilon Bootes 13,000 years before. This object was dubbed "The Black Knight." Also in this blurb, there was mention that science fiction author Philip K. Dick believed that he was in contact with this object, which he wrote several novels about, and gave it various names (VALIS, Zebra). So obviously intrigued, I did some searching on ATS and found no mention of it. Google had a few returns which indicated this story was first written about in John Keel's "Disneyland of the Gods." The effort is hampered because there are several legit satellite projects codenamed "Black Knight."The information of Dick's experiences and writings indicated he received visions, and seemed to interperet the experience and object in somewhat Christian religious terms, in addition to strange communications and diagrams he couldn't interperet. He eventually became paranoid Russian scientists were attempting to control the satellite. A science fiction writer infamous for his heavy drug use eventually living out a sci-fi story... seems to me just as likely that it was just his lifestyle catching up to him than any ET communication. But who knows. In my searching, I also discovered a very close story from 1927, 30 years earlier. It involves the phenomena of Long Delayed Echoes. Essentially, these are radio transmissions that are reflected back, apparently from space, seconds to minutes after they are first sent. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. It could be atmospheric effects just making it appear as if the transmissions are coming from space, or it could ben an alien craft attempting to communicate with us. Logically, it would send back transmissions it recieved from Earth because it could be almost positive that we could receive it. Anyway, the story is that Norwegian scientists received strange radio "echoes" in 1927-28. In the 1970's Scottish astronomer Duncan Lunan interpereted the delayed transmission as a star map... of Epsilon Bootis. Whether these are two instances of the same stragne transmissions, or one story is a retelling of the other is unknown to me. It wouldn't be

the first time the same ideas were repackaged and attempted to be passed off as a "new" anomalous story. Anyway, I made this thread just to get the story out there, and to ask if anybody has any additional information regarding it. They Come From WithinCreated by: mikeboydus on July 4, flags: 55, replies: 118After seeing They Came From Here I decided to go ahead and post a hypothesis of my own. This is a subject I have researched for years partly due to some personal experiences. I still havn't reached a certain conclusion which is why this is a hypothesis and not a theory. I'll layout my idea by introducing key persons and concepts. In a nutshell I think aliens and ufos are unlikely to be from the future or extraterrestrial. Aliens and UFOs most people believe are a recent event, a mythology for modern civilization. The truth is that people have been seeing and encountering bizarre beings and crafts at least as far back as people can write. They have had many names throughout history. Angels, gods, demons, jinn, faerie, asuras, daeva, greys, pleiadians, saurians, etc. There is a French Astrophysicist by the name of Jacques Vallee. He began his career as an Astronomer in the 1960s. He had a mentor an Astrophysicist named J. Allen Hynek, who worked as an advisor on the Air Force's UFO studies Project Sign, Grudge, and Bluebook. Hynek was initially skeptical of UFOs. He was the man who originated the use of the Swamp Gas explanation. By the 1970s he had changed his mind about the phenomena but he could not accept an extraterrestrial hypothesis. "I have come to support less and less the idea that UFOs are 'nuts and bolts' spacecrafts from other

worlds. There are just too many things going against this theory. To me, it seems ridiculous that super intelligences would travel great distances to do relatively stupid things like stop cars, collect soil samples, and frighten people. I think we must begin to re-examine the evidence. We must begin to look closer to home." (Vallee, Revelations: Alien Contact and Human Deception, 290) "A few good sightings a year, over the world, would bolster the extraterrestrial hypothesis – but many thousands every year? From remote regions of space? And to what purpose? To scare us by stopping cars, and disturbing animals, and puzzling us with their seemingly pointless antics?" (Stringfield, Situation Red, 40-42). "If you object, I ask you to explain – quantitatively, not qualitatively – the reported phenomena of materialization and dematerialization, of shape changes, of the noiseless hovering in the earth's gravitational field, accelerations that – for an appreciable mass – require energy sources far beyond present capabilities – even theoretical capabilities, the well-known and often reported E-M (sc. electro-magnetic interference) effect, the psychic effects on percipients, including purported telepathic communications." (Stringfield, 44) Vallee unlike his mentor wasn't a skeptic but a believer in the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis. By 1969 he could no longer accept that idea either. He began to explore the links between UFOs, cults, religions, angels, ghosts, cryptids, and psychic phenomena. He covered his research in a book, Passport to Magonia: From Folklore to Flying Saucers. He wrote a paper titled "Five Arguments Against the Extraterrestrial Origin of Unidentified Flying Objects," 1. Unexplained close encounters are far more numerous than required for any physical survey of the earth; 2. The humanoid body structure of the alleged "aliens" is not likely to have originated on another planet and is not biologically adapted to space travel 3. The reported behavior in thousands of abduction reports contradicts the hypothesis of genetic or scientific experimentation on humans by an advanced race 4. The extension of the phenomenon throughout recorded human history demonstrates that UFOs are not a contemporary phenomenon 5. The apparent ability of UFOs to manipulate space and time suggests radically different and richer alternatives He came up with an idea called the Interdimensional Hypothesis. The concept here is that "aliens" originate from either higher dimensions or parallel universes. The aliens are non human consciousnesses which






may or may not have physical forms that are able to manipulate reality. They can masquerade in any form from space visitors to mythological beings. They appear to be masters of deception, propaganda, disinfomation and social control. Another Key person in my hypothesis which is related but not the same as Vallee's Interdimensional Hypothesis is the Swiss Psychiatrist and founder of Analytical Psychiatry Carl Jung with his concepts of Archetypes, the Collective Unconscious, and Synchronicity. According to Jung Archetypes are the Primal Icons that make up the Collective Unconscious and manifest in myth, religion, and fantasy. The Collective Unconscious is also the sum of human thought, feeling, and memory. "Things are not so simple as you think they are. Myths are not only based on racial memories of prehistoric happenings. There is much more to it. Neither the individual nor the collective subconsciousness is merely made up of submerged memories. Our subconsciousness is also the place where our god lives." Joseph Campbell influenced by Jung discovered these Archetypes throughout human cultures leading him to write, The Hero with a Thousand Faces and The Masks of God. Jung recognized UFOs as part of a modern myth. In his book, Flying Saucers: A Modern Myth of Things Seen In The Sky, he connected UFOs with Archetypes. This brings us back to Vallee. I can see there is a strong link here between Mythology, Religion, Fantasy, Psyche, and UFOs. This also leads me to another Hypothesis influenced by both Jung and Vallee, called the Paranormal and Occult Hypothesis. Note this is not mine but just another step closer to mine. Emanuel Swedenborg, a Swedish philosopher, scientist and and theologian could be argued to be the founder of the First Contactee Cult. In the 1700s he wrote a book, Earths in the Solar World after claiming to experience visions where he was lead around other worlds. Following up to him was Madame Blavatsky who in 1875 founded the Theosophical Society. Among her writings she described other worldly beings. Guy Ballard, a student of Blavatsky, later founded the I AM Actvity Cult in 1930. Both groups seem to have laid the foundations for the Contactee Cults that would follow. Early Contactee cults dealt primarily with Mars and Venus. Alien Messages were acquired by Visions, Channeling and Seances. To be continued.

It allows you to communicate with others, and gives you space to post personal information to make your facebook more "personal." But what information do you use, and how do they use it? They're terms and Conditions state: " By posting Member Content to any part of the Web site, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to facebook an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, reformat, translate, excerpt and distribute such information and content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorpoate into other works, such information and content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing. " Facebook has a "pulse" feature takes your information, and if you go to a university or college, will use that to compile statistical trends of college students. Essentially they find out about you, and use it to make a picture of the college based community on a whole. These statistics compiles data given by universities of members of Facebook. These statistics range from the mundane ("percentage of female college students with conservative views") to the odd ("Percentage of college students that have read Catcher in the Rye") Okay, so basically, they'll give out your information out to the highest corporate bidder. Not that big of a deal. This will just help Coca Cola make a new corporate jingle. Right? but is there more? Who funds Facebook?






Facebook was given funding of upwards to 12.7 million US dollars from Accel Partners. The managing partner of ACCEL is a man named James W Breyer.(visit the thread to view linked images) James Breyer was on the Board of the National Ventures Capital Association. A washington thinktank agency. He served personally with a man named Gilman Louie. (visit the thread to view linked images) Gilman Louie is the founder and CEO of In-Q-TEL (visit the thread to view linked images) In-Q-TEL is a non-profit venture capital firm, a firm run by the Central Intelligence Agency to: " invest in high-tech companies for the sole purpose of keeping the Central Intelligence Agency equipped with the latest in information technology in support of United States intelligence capability. " In-Q-TEL's primarily invests in new Data Mining Technologies. What does that mean? essentially, In-Q-TEL ciphers the internet in search for "systems" which can help the CIA data mine with ease. Something like myspace, and facebook, essentially gives the CIA access to trends in various demographics aswell as they're thought patterns and behaviors. Back to James Breyer. He also was on the Board of Directors of Bolt, Beranak and Newman Technologies. BBN is a defense contractor, dealing primarily with High-technology development. BBN Technologies was the creator of ARPANET, the first operational packet switching network, essentially the first internet system, run by DARPA. In 2004 (the same year Facebook was created) Gilman Louie, the CEO of In-Q-TEL, jumped onboard with BBN Technologies with a one Doctor Anita Jones. (visit the thread to view linked images) Dr Anita Jones was a former Board of Directors of In-Q-TEL, and was the former director of Defense Research and Engineering with United States Department of Defense. Her position placed her as an advisor to the Secretary of Defense, aswell as an overseer to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA. As an overseer of DARPA, she was involved with DARPA's venture in information gathering when DARPA formed the Information Awareness Office in January of 2002. IAO's mission swas to "imagine, develop, apply, integrate, demonstrate and

transition information technologies, components and prototype, closed-loop, information systems that will counter asymmetric threats by achieving total information awareness" one of IAO's many projects was something called the Scalable Social Network Analysis project. " Scalable Social Network Analysis: A project involving the development of techniques based on Social Network Analysis for "the key characteristics of terrorist groups and discriminating these groups from other types of societal groups. " Essentially, it was to find a method to analyse social networks and find "characteristics" of terrorist groups. IAO's goal was to gather information all into one centralized spot, to essentially make a snapshot of society on a whole, to game "Informational" awareness. They're goals of ciphing information include, but are not limited to: Credit Card History, Airline Purchases, Internet Activity, Car Rentals, Educational transcripts, Tax Returns, Medical Records, Utility bills, and "any other available data." The IAO was shrunken down in size and moved about, convienantly around the time of 2004, when Dr. Anita Jones and Gilman louie jumped aboard BBN. The new IAO project is under codename Topsail, now under the overseeing of both DARPA, the DOD, and also the NSA. All of this went down shortly before Facebook emerged, a site that shares strikingly many similarities with a data mining operation. It takes personal information, it exploits said information to gather more detailed information, and compiles it into bite sized chunks. Back to the statistic on the Catcher in the Rye. Why is this a statistic? Both Mark Chapman and John Hinkley Jr, the man that shot and killed John Lennon, and the man that tried to kill Ronald Reagan, respectivelly, both carried Catcher in the Rye with them. Both could be considered domestic "terrorists" in an way. Could this be a insight into the IAO's Topsail project? The Scalable Social Network Analysis? We have a huge environmental movement going on (Earth Day v. global warming); we’re trying to end a war (Vietnam v. Iraq); we’re living under the threat of an attack by a boogieman (communists v. terrorists); distrust for government is on the rise (Nixon/Watergate/Kent State v. Bush/911/WMD); the country was rocked by tragedy (Kennedy assassination v. 911); there is an awakening of younger people and their increased political involvement. Yes, there were differences (there always are) but having lived through both I still sense the wheel coming around again. Only this time, I feel the stakes are infinitely higher and the consequences of the wrong choices dire to say the least. This post isn’t about Bush-bashing, Republicans v. Democrats, liberals v. conservatives, Christians v. non-Christians. There are myriad other threads for you in which to thrash that out. This thread is about how we make it through the next decade. How we right a badly listing ship of state. The very principals upon which this country was founded and that set us apart from virtually every other nation on the planet have been systematically imperiled. We’d all rather watch American Idol and Deal or No Deal than think about this. Unfortunately, we no longer have a choice. The individuals we have been putting in government to afford us the luxury of sinking fat and happy into our couches have found that serving the political machine is far more fulfilling than serving us, The People. In the last mid-term election the voters ‘sent a message’ by overturning the Congress. Our message was unambiguous: The war isn’t working. End it now. The Congress has done jack and the President has said time and again he doesn’t care what the Congress and, by extension, what the American People want. Say what? The Constitution is the foundation of this country and everything for which it stands --- like it or not. It is under siege by people and organizations that find it an obstacle to their personal and business agendas. There are many among us who believe that the Constitution and Bill of Rights have become anachronistic and unnecessary. If that is the case then we should vote, as a country, to amend or discard the provisions contained in those documents. Under no circumstances, however, should anyone or any group --- elected or otherwise --- have the authority to unilaterally circumvent or suspend the provisions of

those documents. Nor should anyone or any group be allowed to act, or fail to act, based upon a non-traditional reinterpretation of those provisions. Those documents contain, among other things, the contract between us, The People, and our elected officials. That contract must be enforced. The United States is not a true democracy. We are a Republic which is a form of governance based upon popular representation and popular consent. It would seem we no longer have either. Every military person takes an oath to uphold the Constitution: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same…” Every Congressman takes a similar oath: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. And, of course, the President: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Considering that defending and upholding the Constitution constitutes the prime directive for our military and elected government how, then, have we allowed it to become subordinated? In the ‘last’ 1960’s we had a cause. The cause was to save the world. Lofty, characteristically unrealistic but sincere it was. We believed. There really hasn’t been a unifying ‘cause’ since. Lots of equally important but fractured causes but no real unifying cause. When the chips are down we don’t get to choose our cause. It’s thrust upon us. And I’m here to tell you that the single most important issue facing all of us is saving the United States and taking it back from the people that stole it while we were all asleep. I know many of you on ATS aren’t from the US. Some could care less whether we stand or fall and many myopic folks would love to see the giant tumble. We are an imperfect country and an imperfect people. But if anyone thinks that they would be immune from the impact of a collapse of the United States you are as clueless as we have been to allow things to get so far in the first place. I’m by no means the first person to bring this up. Nor have I done it the most eloquently. But as a 55 year old man that has lived through the Cold War, The


Cuban Missile Crisis, recessions, a stock market crash, two real estate collapses, the dot-com crash, the savings and loan meltdown, assassinations, attempted assassinations, a half-dozen wars, the draft, an epidemic, a gas crisis, an oil crisis, eathquakes, riots, a nuclear meltdown, Y2K, 911, and an anthrax attack, to name just a few, I am here to tell you with every bit of sincerity that I can muster that we have never been in more peril than we are at this very moment. But how many of you really know what the true issues are? As someone who has been watching this issue for years, it somewhat infuriates me that Johnny-come-lately's are arriving on the scene, finally having been driven to a point where they are so pissed off thoughts of drastic change cross their minds, yet they come to the table bringing small minded concepts like nationalist introspective flag waving BS with them, which pollutes the point of this need for change. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. This fight to which all of you seem to be pledging your lives to is not soley an issue for a particular nation: it is a struggle which has many fronts across the face of our planet: nations, ideologies, science, business, media. By all means, do it for your country, but you should realise that you are also doing it for your planet. These people, who many refer to as the NWO, have spent centuries creating GLOBAL Networks of power. Consider it a Hydra: you cut off one head, it will regenerate. You must face them on all fronts or they will outflank you. Remember: they are masters at the art of conning people. They have seen you coming, so fight smart, not just hard. Grabbing your guns will not be the sole answer to your issues, and I commend those here who look also at political and science angles. I propose to you all that to win you need at least these three key weapons: Information Will Wisdom The Net is the greatest weapon ever given to the People of Earth. Can you not see that 'They' are desperately trying to put it under regulation? They

have seen that it is a great means to exchange information, and an educated, enlightened People scares them. In fact, it could be said that the Net is the greatest mistake they made. Use it to its greatest potential. Speak to the peoples of other nations, gain ideas and views from elsewhere, it will only add to your firepower. A perfect example of this being the people who seem only to have become dissidents regardiing this gun issue, a large amount of those people being the same people who used to call people like myself traitors and hippies (Lefties was an old fave of mine). I hate to say we told you so, but the fact is, we did. So while I am pleased to see you have woken up, albeit it partially, I am wondering: how many of you will follow through to the end? And how many of you are motivated purely for selfish reasons? I encourage you again to be aware of the larger picture: have the wisdom to see what you need to see to succeed. Being introspective will give them a weapon against you. Utilise all avenues open to you,and be aware that one way alone will NOT succeed. However, if you are up right now, and living in Texas then I suggest you stand outside for as long as possible because there are bright lights, red lights, green lights in different formations and ... MOVING. Possibly more concerning is that from the bnrightest light you could see faint dimmer, smaller objects coming out of the bottom. They are dancing really, moving up and down, left and right and occassionally they make very dramatic, very fast movements. I had two friends with me and we all verified that it was moving and releasing objects. To anyone that is able to start looking, you will notice a hell of a lot of clouds. The lights will actually move






from behind the clouds into clear space and then you will see the strangest thing that I have ever seen in my life. Clouds that will actually change direction to cover up the lights. I have been doing this for years ever since hearing about it on a C2C broadcast and it really works. I can usually dissolve a small cloud within 1-2 minutes, larger clouds take longer. Let me just add that I have had years of practice at this so your first attempts may take a little longer. A word of warning: Don't try this on chemtrails; the make up a chemtrail is vastly different from a natural cloud since natural clouds are composed of only water vapor, while chemtrails are composed of everything from jet fuel to varying amounts of chemicals and God knows what else. If you have never heard about this or have heard about it but never tried it, I urge you to give it a whirl, it can be quite uplifting and fun. My site is comprised of 1,200 pages of multi-disciplinary material that took 12,000 hours of labor to produce – not something that can be honestly analyzed in five minutes. One shoe retail outlet in Harare, was issued with a new price list that meant they were required to discount their prices by in excess of 150 percent. They were stunned to see a massive crowd milling around their shop before opening. The crowd consisted of government relatives and cronies who obviously had been informed in advance about the raid, and they cleared the shop within hours. Fuel stations and supermarkets have also been forced to cut their prices below what they have paid for the goods in the first place. Result - fuel stations have dried up the public transport system has ground to a halt, supermarkets are empty and owners cannot replace stock. Petrol stations owners were forced to cut petrol and diesel prices from ZW$160,000 per litre to ZW$60,000




per litre. In case you are not aware the real value of ZW$160,000 is equal to US$653.248 on the open currency exchange. Businesses are closing and people are starving. Only the big retail players remain open, stocking only petty products but thousands of people can not afford to buy their goods anyway. The government has promised to take-over all companies that fail to increase production or to cut their prices to the level set by this disgusting and despotic government. Where are the leaders of the so called free word? Have you heard them speaking out? Have you heard the civil libertarians speaking out? No you have not? They are all on their soapbox sprouting on and on about illegal immigrants, about why we should remain in Iraq etc, on and on about fighting terrorism. Why do they remain silent about the decimation of the Zimbabwean peoples? They are very selective in their outrage and this is truly shameful.
