2. Introduction The Black Death was one of the most devastatingpandemics in human history. The main reason for the Black Death is the plaguetheory. The bacteria Yersinia pestis was the bacteria thatcaused the black pleage. 3. Beginnings Started in China and travelled along the Silk Roadand reached the Crimea. Oriental rat fleas living on the black rats, infectedregular passengers on merchant ships and spreadthroughout the Mediterranean and Europe. 4. Now lookat the firstposter!!! 5. Look!!Atmeee!!!! 6. Desease The most commonly noted symptom was theappearance of buboes. another common symptom is the gangrene. Rashes and freckle-like spots was anothersign, which was probably from flea bites. 7. Social impact The aftermath of the plague created a series ofreligious, social and economic upheavals. The people got scared and made them stay athome, like if they were in quarentine. The black plague killed 3060 percent of Europespopulation Reducing the worlds population from an estimated450 million to between 350 and 375 million in the14th century. Poor people were the most affected of all because asthey live in misery they get infected easily. 8. Economy The economy was affected of that of being enclosedit make a lot of people try to escape of this and runaway from the country but this just make morepeople died because of the transmit the bacteria. Because of the enclosed people and the ones thatwere escaping the economy went severely downbecause there was no movement nor economicactivities in the country. 9. Art and literature The Black Death had a profound impact on art andliterature throughout the generation. 10. Now lookat thesecondposter!!! 11. The rat and the Orientalfleas rat and fleas were the prime factor of the blackdeath, the people try to exterminate the rats in manyways like: poisoned food, getting cats and killingthem in any way they could. 12.
