The best way for students to prepare for a future in college
athletics is to complete the approved core courses and earn
appropriate grades in them.
DIVISION I Ex: JMU, William and Mary, ODU
Athletic Scholarships Available; need to certify through NCAA
DIVISION IIEx: Concord, Glenville, UVA Wise, Shepherd
Athletic Scholarships Available; need to certify through NCAA
DIVISION IIIEx: Bridgewater, Ferrum, Shenandoah
No Athletic Scholarships and do not need to certify through NCAA

There is absolutely no time to waste on getting your grades straight. Finish the school year strong. Make sure you are enrolled in classes for next year that support your NCAA core GPA and that you are familiar with your eligibility status.
