The journal Since 1998, peer-reviewed The Practising Midwife has provided a forum for the application of research findings to practice. The celebrated 'Midwifery basics' series is a must for both students and midwives wishing to brush up or expand their skills; Advancing practice provides opportunities for midwives to delve into more challenging subjects in greater depth; while our evidence series, including 'Research unwrapped', develops readers' skills in understanding papers, reviews and guidelines. Original, vibrant themes cover a whole range of midwifery-related topics, keeping midwives and students engaged and informed on subjects affecting midwifery and the childbirth continuum.
