Dear Friends, Guests and Benevilla Supporters,

Thank you so much for joining us for our 35th Anniversary Gala!

I can hardly believe it’s been thirty-five years since Interfaith, now Benevilla, was brought into being by a group of concerned citizens who felt they couldn’t remain complacent, while their neighbors were struggling with the challenges of remaining independent at home.

This original group, led by our founder Bill Wolfrey, had the foresight and compassion that inspired others in their community to join together and what started as one service, crisis counseling, has turned into so much more.

As of 2016, Benevilla provided close to 330,000 hours of service to our communities with the support of nearly 900 volunteers. Services like home delivered meals and free home services, and more have provided nutritional support, companionship, and relieved monetary burdens for many in our community.

Benevilla is truly a unique organization. After thirty-five years, Benevilla is able, with your help, to continue the tradition of caring and compassion upon which we were founded. What started as neighbors helping neighbors continues today.

Thank you for attending this evening’s event. Every dollar we raise goes back into supporting the programs that allow all of us to live independently with grace and dignity.
