boiler houses in a condition
allowing entry into Care and
Maintenance. Work commenced
early 2011 and completed in June
2013, 2 months ahead of
schedule.
• The project has involved more
than 250,000 man hours without a
lost time accident and has
delivered 2,500te of pipework and
process system components de-
planted and processed for
disposal. 95% of which has been
recycled.

• Delivering up to 80% reduction in
approval times for key documents which
was identified early on as a key blocker

of the approval process to one person.
This has been carried over to other sites
where improvements are highly visible.
• Benefits of collaborative working allowing
mutual understanding of scopes and
each others needs.
• Identification of key drivers allowing all to
focus on these areas.
