BISHOP GAINER’S LISTENING SESSIONS Bishop Gainer invites all members of St. Pius X Church to attend a Listening Session on Wednesday, February, 20, 2019 Immaculate Conception in Berwick at 6:30 pm or Thursday, February 21, 2019, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, Elysburg at 6:30 pm. During these sessions, Bishop Gainer will address concerns re-garding the Grand Jury Report, the Diocese’s response to abuse, our path forward, and any other questions or concern from parishioners. If you are unable to attend this or any other Listening Session, but would still like to ask Bishop Gainer a question, please email your question to [email protected].

BUS TRIP NATIONAL MARCH FOR LIFE –SEATS STILL AVAILABLE The Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a bus on Friday, January 18, 2019 to go to Washington DC for the National March for Life. Seats will be $20 for adults and $10 for youth under 18. (Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). This is to be paid in advance and is non-refundable. The bus leaves St. Pius X Catholic Church at 6 am. To purchase seats for this event, you can contact Tim Minori at (570)259-8478 or Ron Butkera at 570-743-8241and give your contact information. Note: It is our desire that no one be prevent-ed from attending the March for Life because they do not have the money for the seat. ST. MONICA CHURCH CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE RAFFLE Saint Monica Church is currently holding a "Choose Your Adventure" Raffle. RESPECT LIFE MASS The annual diocesan Respect Life Mass will take place on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 9:30 am at Good Shep-herd Church in Camp Hill. This Mass is celebrated every year to commemorate the lives lost to abortion since 1973 and to pray for the building up of a culture of life in our nation from conception to natural death. Rever-end Stephen Kelley, chaplain to our diocese’s Rachel’s Vineyard post-abortion ministry, will be the celebrant and homilist. Both he and Tom O’Neill will greet Respect Life leaders and volunteers from around the diocese in the narthex after the Mass. All are welcome!

On this special day, join us for a Holy Mass celebrating African & African American Catholic Faith and Culture. The Most Reverend Ronald W. Gainer will be the principal celebrant. Our guest, Most Reverend Roy E. Campbell, Jr. from the Archdiocese of Washington, will be the homilist. Liturgical music will be offered by the dynamic Saint Joseph Gospel Choir from Largo, Maryland.
