Summer 2017

FAMILY NIGHTS THIS SUMMER

CROSSROADS STUDENT MINISTRY is excited for another wonderful summer together!

To kick off our summer, we will be honoring our Seniors at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday May 3rd in the Greenhouse. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate the leadership and enthusiasm of this awesome group of seniors! There will be food and punch and of course we will have a video of pictures to honor each senior.

Starting Sunday, May 7 we will begin collecting donations for our yard sale. The donations made will need to be placed in the very left side of the garage, the building adjacent to the office. There will be signs directing you where to go. Our yard sale will take place June 1st - June 3rd and the proceeds made from the yard sale will go towards our high school and middle school mission trips this summer.

Our high school mission trip will be June 12-16. We will be serving in Cincinnati, OH with the CiY Engage ministry. We are excited to partner with them in service!

For more info on each trip, or if you would like to sign up, please come to the Greenhouse!

Looking forward to a great summer!

Our middle school mission trip will be June 25-28. We will be serving again with Riverwood Christian Community in Louisville, TN. We love spending time with our friends from Riverwood and look forward to another great week with them.

For the past 4 years the Garden at Crossroads has provided thousands of pounds of fresh produce to Second Harvest Food Bank and to residents of the Gray community. This project needs dozens of volunteers to be successful, no experience is necessary and all ages

can participate!

Here’s some of the ways you can help:

1) Donate money for plants, seeds and fertilizer 2) Come to “PLANTING DAY” on Saturday, May 6 at 9:00. With 10-15 volunteers that morning, it will only take a couple of hours to plant the garden. 3) Volunteer to weed and till during May and June. 4) Volunteer to harvest during mid-June through July.

Please fill out a volunteer form at the Information Desk or call the church office. An envelope for donations will also be available at the Information Desk.
