Existing customers can adjust workflows and system use without making equipment investments.
Switch from single to multiple beds quickly: Telligence 6 patient stations can be changed from supporting a single patient/bed to a dual/semi-private room by simply adding a bed license and programming. This is an immediate, easy and economical way to double bed capacity in care areas with Telligence 6 installed.
Display the information and reminders you need most: Workflow (HC-VSTN or TelliConnect stations) can be customized to add reminders and status functions without the need to add any equipment or software.
Incorporate Dome lights into your workflows: Dome lights can be used with workflows to indicate patient and room status in addition to room alarms.
Integration to monitoring: Patient stations (via ¼” phono jack input or SafeConnect adapter connected to devices equipped with dry contact relay nurse call interface) can support the monitoring of output from medical devices, such as ventilators. Additionally, these inputs can be programmed with a delay to filter false alarms to reduce alarm fatigue.
Sanitization ready: Telligence devices are designed to allow effective sanitization, with sealed button membranes. Additionally, Telligence devices have a ‘clean mode’ to avoid generating false calls during sanitization.

Unite
A common request is to quickly alert teams of situations, request services and teams to respond. Unite software is effective, highly customizable and easy to deploy. This software solution serves as an option to reconfigure Telligence touchpoints, or for sites with non-Ascom nurse call. For existing Unite installations, any PC can be used to quickly create alerts and messages to defined teams and receive feedback on delivery and acceptance of the message.
Team Activation
Team Activation: Unite AlertTrac enhances care team communication by sending individual, group, or broadcast messages. Alert teams of patients presenting with potential infection or request testing, isolation, or equipment all in one simple click with visual feedback confirming delivery and acceptance of messages.

Unite AlertTrac is a web-based application that enables custom-izable, mobile alert messaging to staff to communicate execution of tasks or direct an emergency response to a specific event.
Patient to family calls: Enable patients to make calls to family and friends.
Staff to staff communication: Collaborative care team communication is more critical in the current environment. The simple process of adding handsets can improve existing processes.
Caregiver notification: Where non-traditional settings are converted to patient care areas and a nurse call system cannot be installed, a mobile handset and desktop charger can be provided to each patient. With push-to-talk functionality, patients can make simple one button calls to caregivers if they require attention. (Unite support required).
WiFi or DECT: Ascom mobility can be deployed using existing Wi-Fi infrastructure, or optionally a DECT infrastructure can quickly be deployed to cover large areas.
Temporary Patient Care Areas: A DECT deployment is a suitable solution for sites deploying tents in parking areas, for testing and triaging, and allowing staff to stay connected.

COVID-19 Triage Healthcare Rapid Response Communications Solution
Together, we developed the COVID-19 Triage Healthcare Rapid Response Communication Solution - to aid in the rapid deployment of critical communications systems in temporary medical facilities. This solution will enable healthcare systems to quickly triage patients and help optimize recovery outcome in alternative locations such as repurposed hotels, gymnasiums, schools, and field hospitals.
Our design includes installation of a cloud-based, HITRUST CSF certified unified communications system, which supports use within HIPAA-compliant environments and enables clinicians to securely communicate via video, voice, text, or chat - while staying mobile and at the patient’s bedside. In re-purposed facilities such as a hotel, the solution would utilize existing Wi-Fi infrastructure
to deploy the cloud voice communication solution. Ascom mobile handsets will be delivered with the RingCentral communications application pre-loaded so that physicians and clinicians working onsite can begin immediate communications.
As clinicians treat patients, all team members can view the presence of who is online and choose the type of communication. Bluetooth features also enable completely hands-free communications and the handsets are purpose-built for healthcare to withstand the strongest disinfection on the market. Unlike consumer-grade mobile handsets, Ascom healthcare devices are tested with cleaning and disinfection products that adhere to stringent cleaning protocols. ASCOM DECT Kit – IPBS2IPBS2s are IP-based, powered via PoE, subject to standard LAN cabling distance limitations (~330’) and must use CAT5/6 cabling. IPBS2s can also act as DECT masters (or other DECT functions) without the need for an IP-DECT gateway. As they must be synchronized over the air, be sure to deploy them more densely than a DB1.
