Well this year is almost over and my term as your Potentate hascome to an end. I want to thank everyone who helped me during thisyear and also those who challenged me to be a better person and abetter Shriner. I ask in leaving, that you help and pray for the Divan

that has served with me to the benefit of all of the Nobility. We have lots of work aheadof us and your Divan will be there to guide you into the new year with all the changesbefore us.

We had a great Official Visit in Ocala, they again were able with the help of club unitsto give us over $20,000 for the Patient Transportation Fund. The Quilt fest was wonderfulagain this year and they again give us money for the PTF. Keystone was able to get us a$15,000 grant from Clay Electric for the PTF. Beaches, Fernandina, Morocco Thunderand Ocala Legion of Honor all had a paper drive this year. They all had a great time andraised not only money but awareness for our Hospitals.

Since the last meeting in November when you were informed of the signing of the sales contract and money beingdeposited into escrow, we have now signed the documents that allow the buyer to file for the zoning change. This beingsaid we are moving ahead as planned. At this time, I don’t see us moving out of this building before 2020. The approvalprocess is long, up to 90 days in Jacksonville then 6 to 9 months in Tallahassee. After that it comes back to Jacksonvillefor site plan approvals. Then we sit down again with the buyer to agree what we take with us and what stays. We also, atthis time set up a closing date and the terms that we stay on site for up to six months after we have our payout.

Many thanks to the real estate team for their diligence in working to secure a good contract for the sale of our building.Congratulations to all who received awards in November. Our Shriner of the year for 2018 is Dorfus Fain and our

Shrine Lady of the year for2018 is Carolann Potts. Bothhave shown their dedicationto our philanthropy. Also, toR.J. Aenchbacher for hiswork as the membershipchairman. We had 3.4%growth in membership thisyear.

In closing I want to thankFirst Lady Arlene for walkingthis journey with me. WithoutArlene and my family, I couldnever have gotten everythingdone this year on time.

Again, thanks to each andevery one of you for yoursupport this year. I wish youall a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Please keep our troops, first responders, andShrine hospitals in your prayers.

Yours in the faith,
