Profile of the College:

Home Science is a unique interdisciplinary field of knowledge. It synthesizes knowledge

from physical, biological and social sciences, arts and humanities. While family and

community well being and development are its core concerns, it trains students to be

competent both within and outside the home.

The subjects offered in Home Science encompassing various specialized branches with

sub and super specialization.

The syllabus combines theory, practical and field work with foundation, core and elective

courses which include ICT courses. These courses were designed keeping in view social

and economical empowerment of young graduates.

Area of Specializations:

● Foods & Nutrition - Focus - Dietetics, Human Nutrition, Community Nutrition,

Institutional Food Service Management, Biochemistry.

● Human Development - Focus - Child Welfare - Early Childhood education,

differently able children, Women's Issues, Overviews of life span development.

● Textiles & Clothing - Focus - Fashion design, Textile, Textile Science.

Commercial clothing & Fashion Marketing.

● Family Resource Management - Focus - Interior design, Hospitality

Management, Consumer Services, Ergonomics.

The logo of the college is an open book, which is spreading the light of knowledge with a

motto- 'Vidyaratanam Mahadhanam' .

It is with a sense of satisfaction that we present the AQAR of the academic year 2011-12.

In view of the suggestions given by the NAAC team in the academic year 2007, the

Principal, faculty and administrative unit of the college makes conscious effort towards

achieving and maintaining excellence in all our endeavors.

The AQAR is divided into 3 sections.

Section - A Reflecting the plan chalked out by the IQAC in beginning of

academic year 2011-12 and outcome of the same.

Section - B This gives the details of all criterias spelled out by NAAC.

Section - C This includes the planning for next academic year 2012-13.

The meeting of the IQAC cell was held on Wednesday, 24 June 2011, wherein the

academic plan of the year 2011-12 was put forward and finalized after discussion. The

Principal discussed about the CBCS guidelines provided by the Government of Gujarat

G.R. No.NGC-2610-1055, Dated 7-6-2011. The principal also informed about the

celebrations of Swarnim Gujarat during the academic year. Most of the students are from

vernacular medium thus English is a lacuna among students and to overcome this, a

strategy was discussed for maximum utilization of English Lab. The faculty members

were given portfolios for various curricular and extra curricular activities. (Part-A)

It was further discussed that all the members of the college i.e. faculty, non-teaching and

support staff each has an important role to play to sustain and enhance institutional

quality for integral education. The institute has to be progressive to meet the national

goals in the field of education.

The principal emphasized that each member of the faculty has an important role in

enhancing the academic program in a manner that students derive maximum benefit as

recent modern system of credit based evaluation and assessment through grades is

employed.

The college has three add-on courses namely-

Sports Nutrition

Fashion Design

Interiors, which are skill oriented and vocational in nature.

The Digital Education and learning Lab plays a major role in personal enhancement of

students.

In the computer laboratory of the college, Internet facilities are available for students.

The college also manages a laboratory nursery school and Day Care Centre.

The Anganwadi Workers Training Centre managed by college, trains various cadres of

ICDS workers and provides rich community based experiences to the students of the

college.

The institution also manages a very strong community out reach programme in which all

the faculty members and students participate.

The U.G.C. XI Plan grant was utilized as per U.G.C. norms. The amount utilized for

books & journals is Rs.3,50,319, equipments Rs.4,71,121, maintenance Rs.1,19,197, field

work/study tour Rs.60,000, enhancement of interiors in computer building Rs.10,957 and

improvement of facilities in existing premises Rs.75,525. The grant sanctioned by U.G.C.

is totally utilized as per norms.

In the year 2011-2012, 54 cadets were enrolled in NCC. In the first semester the

NCC parades were conducted centrally on every Sunday morning from 7.30 to 10.00 am

at B.J.V.M. College campus. In the second semester the parades were conducted on every

Friday at our college premises at 8.00 to 10.30 am, cadets were provided with snacks on

every parade.

Theory classes were conducted on topics like map reading, Arms & ammunitions,

discipline, health and hygiene, cleanliness, first aid, personality development, disaster

management and environment. Out of forty parades in an year we could complete thirty

four parades till date.

Our cadets performed well and won shields & Gold medal.

Home Science is an interdisciplinary field. The major focus is preparing young girls

for a profession and dealing with life situation. The subjects offered have potential for

personal development, academic development and professional development.

A vocational degree course in Food Science and Quality Control is offered on self

finance basis.

The College has IGNOU study centre for M.Sc. programme in Dietetics and Food

Service Management.

College has also introduced UGC sponsored Certificate and diploma Add on

courses in:

- Sports Nutrition

- Fashion Design

- Interiors

These are skill oriented courses which prepare them for vocations.

Study tours are organized for the students with an aim to provide first hand

experience in the area of specialization and to enhance their outlook in general.

Under career and counseling cell each department organized workshop to enhance the

skills of the students and to stimulate creativity in their respective fields.

Each department organizes parent teacher interactive meeting once every year where

the parents are motivated to support their daughters in their academic pursuits more

over a detailed discussion of job opportunity and the future prospects of the field is

conducted. Apart from this in situation where the counselor feels the need to involve

parents in solving students' problem parents are invited personally and the problem is

solved under the guidance and involvement of the Principal.

● The library of the college has enough books, journals and magazines for the benefit of

the students. An open access system is used. Internet facilities are also available in the

library. A well ventilated reading room is a part of the library.

● Various activities for the overall development of the students under Sapt Dhara:

Geet Sangeet Nritya Dhara:

This dhara started its activities with a patriotic song competition which was organized

on the occasion of Independence Day celebration. The students participated in Youth

Festival programme organized by Sardar Patel University. The college celebrated

Ratri before Navratri wherein all the students, staff and invited guests enjoyed the

traditional Garba and Raas of Gujarat.

Gyan Dhara:

This year the programmes started with a talk and discussion by an eminent

personality Mrs. Jayana Pathak on 'Mutthi Uncheri Ketlik Nari' followed by an

interactive session by the students.

Talks were organized on various topics like (i) Thought of Gandhi (ii) Magic of Self

Talk and (iii) Womanhood.

Few students also visited exhibition on Swami Vivekanand's life "Vivek Express" at

Railway Station, Anand.

Kala Kaushalya Dhara:

Various events were planned by the college by which students could exhibit their

creativity like Poster making, Card making, Rakhi making, Rangoli etc. The students

participated in Youth Festival organized by Sardar Patel University.

Vyayam, Yoga and Khelkood Dhara:

The college organized an Inter College Chess tournament wherein 22 students from

various colleges participated.

The students participated at State level events like-

Basketball Tournament. 12 Students participated at the event out of which 02 players

were selected for State level tournament and secured 4th position in Anand District.

16 Students participated at State level tournament of Football at Dharmaj. Out of

which 09 players were selected at State level and they played at Ankleshwar.

The students also participated in various Inter College competitions like Badminton,

Table Tennis, Basketball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball and Athletics.

In the Annual Sports day, students participated in various sports events

enthusiastically and enjoyed the games.

Natya Dhara:

Under this dhara, CDs were shown to students provided by Government of Gujarat on

'Padi Patode Bhat', Jaimin and Chitralekha.

Talk was organized by Mrs.Vedkumari on "Importance of drama". Students took part

in Skit competition in Youth Festival on the topic 'Padi Patode Bhat' which was

appreciated by all. The same Skit was also performed at the Annual Day celebrations

of the College, which earned many accolades by the prestigious audience.

Sarjanatmak Abhivyakti Dhara:

Students were motivated to participate in various competitions on story, poem, essay,

poster, debate etc. organized by other institutions.

Inter College Debate competition was organized where 10 teams from various

colleges participated. The topic was "Formal College Education has strong hold on

students inspite of knowledge explosion in present times".

Samudayik Seva Dhara:

The main aim of this dhara is to inculcate feelings of responsibility towards the

society. Various programmes were planned under NSS, like Thalessemia awareness

programme, Thalessemia check-up camp, poster competition on AIDS.

Annual NSS camp was organized at Khandhali village where different programmes

were carried out with the help and involvement of villagers.

Under NCC, students attended various camps at Thamna and Kanpur. The cadets

performed well and won gold medal in Rangoli competition and shield for group song

competition and group dance competition respectively.

2. New Academic Programmes initiated (U.G. & P.G.) :

i) An U.G.C. sponsored add-on course "Diploma in Interiors" has been started from

June 2011.

ii) In second year B.Sc. programme at III & IV semesters, "Choice based credit system

(CBCS)" is implemented since June 2011.

iii) Students clearing 120 credits at the end of VIth semester will be awarded (General)

degree.

iv) Students clearing 144 credits at the end of VIth semester will be awarded (Honors)

degree.

Note: The college with regular B.Sc. programmes in Textiles & Clothing, Foods

& Nutrition, Family Resource Management, Human Development, Food

Science & Quality Control first degree vocational also offers U.G.C.

sponsored add-on courses in Certificate and Diploma in Sports Nutrition,

Certificate and Diploma in Fashion Design, Certificate and Diploma in

Interior.

These courses are offered to those students who have enrolled for the U.G. courses.

These students can select an add-on course of their interest so that along with their

graduation, they also get a certificate or diploma of an add-on course.

3. Innovations in curricular design and transaction:

With introduction of CBCS at undergraduate programme the college offers courses as

Foundation, Core and Electives.

i) Foundation courses like personal empowerment, English, Environmental studies,

Effective Speaking and Writing, Communication process in development, Programme

for rural and urban development, Seminar, Interpersonal communication in workplace

etc. are offered from Ist semester to VIth semester, for developing communication

skills in presentation, public speaking & better employability along with critical

thinking.

ii) Elective courses like Computer Basic, Grooming and personality, First Aid and Home

nursing, Yoga, Basics of Business, Counseling techniques, Fashion and color,

Therapeutic diets, Marketing, Garment export and import, Soft skill development etc.

are offered to pursue subject of interest to the student and acquire skills and

knowledge in related area.

iii) Core courses are offered for subject in-depth knowledge required for the said degree

in which the student is registered.

iv) Subjects like environmental science; extension activity develops capacity building,

social service inputs etc. in students.

4. Inter-disciplinary programmes:

i) Under the CBCS, the elective subjects offered are inter disciplinary in nature. The

students from Family Resource Management, Textiles & Clothing, Human

Development, Foods & Nutrition, and Food Science and Quality Control can select an

elective subject offered by the other departments.

ii) The add-on courses, sponsored by U.G.C. viz. certificate and diploma in Sports

Nutrition, Certificate and diploma in Fashion design and certificate and diploma in

Interiors are interdisciplinary where students from commerce, arts and science

streams are enrolled.

iii) College is a study centre for M.Sc., Dietetics & Food Service Management of Indira

Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) where in students from medicine,

pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing & nutrition fields get enrolled.

5. Examination reforms implemented:

As per Sardar Patel University, the college has implemented following reforms:

i) A student can avail 30 credits per semester including 24 credits for regular papers.

ii) Weightage of internal evaluation per subject is 40% and external evaluation is 60%.

iii) In Internal assessment student will have to score 25% marks in individual subject and

aggregate 35% score. In external assessment, the student will have to score 40%

marks in each course and 40% marks in aggregate of internal & external for particular

course.

iv) Internal assessment is based on continuous and comprehensive assessment viz.

written tests, multiple choice questions, presentations, projects, field trips, seminars,

discussion, laboratory work etc.

v) Set question paper style is followed where in question paper contains multiple choice

question, short answer question, long answer question, very long questions.

vi) 10 (Ten) point scale grading and class system is introduced based on CGPA instead

of percentage in External University examination.

6. Candidates qualified: NET / SLET / GATE etc.

Minal Chauhan and Tanvi Makwana qualified UGC NET with Home Science

subjects on 26th June 2011.

Tanvi Makwana also cleared GSET exam on 16th June 2011.

7. Initiative towards faculty development programme:

i) Workshop on Body Language by National Trainer Mr. Dhadukia from Surat was

organized on 5th July 2011.

ii) Training and capability building programme in Home Science is organized by KCG,

Government of Gujarat from 12th March to 17th March 2012. A report is attached.

iii) Workshop on Anger Management on 19th April 2012 for the benefit of teaching and

non-teaching staff and Alumni. A National Trainer from Kota was called in as the

expert trainer.

8. Total No. of Seminars / Workshops conducted:

The college organized seminars and workshops throughout the year to enrich the

skills, professionalism and positive self concept in the students thus fulfilling the very

mission of the institution.

To enhance research skills in students a two days workshop on 'Research culture

in Home Science' was organized under "College with potential for Excellence"

on 12th and 13th December 2011, wherein 130 students of T.Y.B.Sc. (Home)

actively participated and brought out thought provokin

search proposals.

A one day workshop on emerging professional trends in Home Science for final year

students of the college along with college alumni was arranged on 17th January 2012.

College along with Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, arranged a training

programme for "Capability building of teachers of Home Science colleges" of Gujarat

State from 12th to 17th March 2012. About 45 teachers participated in the programme

throughout the State. Workshops on Body language and Anger management were

organized on 5th July-2011 and 19th April 2012 respectively for the teachers and non-

teaching staff members of the college along with students and alumni. Under U.G.C.

project a fifteen day training programme was organized on "Role of women in

Recycling Household waste for housewives of Vallabh Vidyanagar" from 7th

February to 24th February 2012.

Apart from this each department of the college organized seminars and workshops to

enhance students' knowledge, capabilities, skills and their overall personality.

● Foods & Nutrition Department:

Department started its activities with the celebration of International mother's milk

from 1st to 7th August and celebrated International Nutrition Week from 1st to 7th of

September 2011 with various competitions, quiz, exhibition, role plays etc. for

Anganwadi workers, students and faculty members of the C.V.M. run colleges.

Department also arranged a workshop on "culinary skills" for the third year students

of Foods and Nutrition and Food Science and Quality Control.

● FRM Department:

The department organized a workshop cum demonstration on "fabric painting" on

27th August 2011 and a workshop on "Screen printing" on 13th September 2011 under

add-on course of Interiors for the students of certificate and diploma courses.

From 9th to 11th December 2011, a workshop on "Canvas painting" was organized by

the department for the students. A workshop on "Ceramic Clay Art" was organized

from 18th to 22nd February 2012 at Vadtal for students of diploma interiors add on

course. A week long celebration of consumer week from 24th to 30th December 2011

was arranged by the department wherein the students of the schools and colleges of

C.V.M. benefited through lectures, role play, competitions and exhibition on

consumerism.

● Textiles & Clothing Department:

A workshop on "article enhancement using appliqué work and embroidery" and "doll

making" from old socks was organized on 8th December 2011 for 16 Anganwadi

workers and 13 Kishories of Mochivas Anganwadi wherein 7 students of the

department imparted these skills in the participants.

The department organized a two day workshop on 5th and 6th March 2012 for its 41

students on "ecofriendly dying and printing" in collaboration with Weavers Service

Centre, Ministry of Textiles, Government of Gujarat, Ahmedabad.

● Human Development Department:

A two day workshop on "leadership qualities, problem solving abilities and decision

making skills" was organized on 12th and 13th January 2012 for the departmental

students.

On 16th and 17th January 2012, a workshop was organized on "Lamasa Art, chocolate

making and Papier Mache skills" and on 24th January a workshop on "doll making,

craft from waste materials" was organized for the students of the department.

● Biology Department:

A workshop cum demonstration for Anganwadi workers on "Therapeutic value of

drumstick leaves in different recipes" was organized on 12th January 2012 by the

department.

Other Community Services of the College:

Demonstration on income generating activities, preparation of best out of waste,

creating awareness regarding different diseases, misbelieves and common community

problems through role plays, street plays, charts and posters were organised.

23. Students' feedback of teachers' teaching:

Various courses was taken up in the year 2011-12 by developing a format consisting

of attributes like Clarity, Interest, Behaviour, Knowledge, Regularity, Evaluation

method, Teaching method, Overall rating. These attributes of teachers were assessed

by the student on a five point scale whereby '5' stands for very good, to '1' for very

poor. Each teacher was assessed on the courses taught by her/him.

The data was compiled and analyzed for further improvement. The results for the

teachers overall performance where teaching F.Y.B.Sc. students revealed that, most

of the teachers fall in the category of Average to Good, and few teachers have

outstanding performance namely Ms. Rekha Emanuel, Ms. Paresha Patel, Ms. Vijaya

Agarwal and Ms. Rohini Pathak, while two teachers namely Ms. Trusha Lad and Ms.

Sharda Joshi need a little more efforts to move towards Good to Very Good,

especially in the attributes of regularity and interest generated by the teacher.

When the results for the S.Y.B.Sc. Students' feedback of teachers' on various courses

were assessed, the results revealed that in Family Resource Management department

all the teachers secured Average to Good in their overall performance. One teacher

scored low on the attribute of clarity.

In the Food and Nutrition department the teachers' performance was evaluated by the

S.Y.B.Sc. Students as average while rest of the teachers' performance graded as

Good.

In Human Development department the S.Y.B.Sc. Students' feedback on teachers'

performance ranged between Average to Good, while in Textile and Clothing

department, the S.Y.B.Sc. Students rated their teachers' overall performance between

Good to Very Good.

When the final year students' were asked to furnish the feedback of the teachers'

performance with respect to the courses taught, the results displayed that in Human

Development department, the teacher's overall performance ranged between Good to

Very Good, while in Family Resource Management department three teachers were

rated between Good to Very Good and two teachers between Average to Good.

The results of Foods & Nutrition department revealed their teacher's overall

performance from the feedback of students to be Good while in Textile and Clothing

department the student's feedback of their teacher's was rated as Good to Very Good.

Action Taken:

The Principal discussed the outcome of the feedback with the concerned teachers.

The teachers were asked to analyze their strength and weaknesses. The teachers

identified as scored low in few attributes were observed during their classroom

sessions by the senior faculty and assisted wherever needed.

30. Activities and support from the Alumni Association:

This year the alumni association was very active. They arranged an "Alumni Meet"

and a seminar on 17th January 2012. The topic for seminar was "Emerging

Professional Trends in Home Science" where management professionals of the field

were invited for the talk. The seminar was part of the alumni meet so that all the

alumni and present T.Y. students who are going to be future alumni of the college get

chance to meet and know about some of the very prominent and active alumni, and

their future prospects.

Many alumni are very well established in their life and quite reputed. Ms. Sushma

Patel, a renowned International Fashion designer graced the occasion. Ms. Rina Amin

of Rina's Health Hub and Ms. Gira Desai, an Interior Designer working in Vadodara

were also present to share their experiences. Besides these, there were many other

alumni who attended the meet. There were almost 40 alumni enrolled for the meet.

Alumni Association also organized a workshop on 19th April 2012 on the topic

"Anger Management" in collaboration with JCI Club of Anand, where Jc. Amarpreet

Sabarwal from JCI Kota (Rajasthan) was invited as resource person.

33. Performance in Sports activities:

Various Sports activities were organized by the College during the academic year of

2011-2012. Students of the college participated and performed at different sports

events held at Inter-class, Inter-college and Inter-University level. This year's

exceptional event was Khel Mahakumbh, organised by the Government of Gujarat.

36. Activities of Career and Counseling Cell:

The activities of Career and Counseling Cell during the year 2011-12 started with an

aim to provide professional guidance to the students for better career development

and achievements, thus build up confidence to perform better in academic as well as

in career. In order to cater to the aim of the Cell various activities during the entire

year were carried out.

1) A seminar under ESDL, Cambridge University for T.Y.B.Sc. (H.Sc.) students

arranged whereby Ms. Sonia Shah, a resource person from Poona was invited to

interact with students about Resume writing and preparing students for work i.e.

facing interview.

2) A workshop on the topic 'Body language' was arranged on 5th July 2011 for students

(30), teaching and non-teaching staff members. Mr. Dhadukia from Surat was invited

to talk about gestures, postures; habits whether acquired or internalized do make a

change in one's thinking. The unsaid actions depict more than the spoken words.

3) A lecture was arranged for F.Y. and S.Y. and T.Y. students on 10th August 2011. Mrs.

Parultina Desai, research fellow in C.V.M., in Indian Women's Encyclopedia was

invited to talk about the inbuilt characteristics of Indian women as depicted in Hindu

mythology.

4) Department of Family Resource Management arranged a three day workshop (9th to

11th December 2011) for FRM major students and students of add on certificate

course in Interiors on Canvas Painting. Mr. Jignesh Patel from Bharuch and team was

invited to guide the students about the know how of Canvas painting and its

intricacies. Wonderful paintings on the theme of nature were brought out by the

students.

5) On 12th and 13th December 2011 a two days workshop on "Creating Research Culture

in Home Science" was arranged for students of T.Y.B.Sc. Home Science. Where

experts from each of the majors were invited as resource persons (Dr. Manisha

Shukul-FRM Department, Dr. Madhu Sharan-T.C. Department, Dr. Hemangini

Gandhi-F.N. Department and Dr. Rehana- H.D.F.S. Department all from M.S.

University of Baroda) to talk about various topics in the respective areas on which

research can be done.

The students were oriented with research procedure. On the second day, major wise

students were divided in smaller groups and each group was allotted a teacher to

guide them in selecting the topic for research- writing of research methodology and

writing bibliography etc.

The workshop ended with the power point presentation of research proposals

prepared by the students.

6) S.Y. and T.Y.B.Sc. (Home Science, Human Development) students on 11th and 12th

January 2012 learnt about Lamasa art, papier mache and chocolate making in a

workshop arranged by the department. Ms. Keta Shah and Ms. Nirali Shah, eminent

entrepreneur from Nadiad were invited to conduct the sessions. Students prepared

mouth watering chocolate, cake and prepared animal & vegetable cut outs in Lamasa

art which can later be used for young children in a lab nursery school.

7) On 13th January 2012, a talk by Dr. Bakul Bakshi was arranged where he spoke on

'Motivation' to the F.Y., S.Y. and T.Y. students.

8) On 16th January 2012 one day seminar on "Emerging professional trends in Home

Science" was arranged for T.Y.B.Sc. (Home Sc.) students and the college alumni. Dr.

Prerna Mohite, Ex. Dean (F.S.C.S. Department) M. S. University was the key speaker

who gave insight into the past, present and future of Home Science as a discipline.

She stressed that education in Home Science is multidisciplinary which is the demand

of today's education system.

A panel discussion with experts namely Dr. K. Rathnam (G.M. Amul Dairy), Mr.

Pradeep Patel (Comfy Furnitures) and Dr. Prerna Mohite was arranged. Dr. Rathnam

talked about job prospects in food sectors and gave information regarding the latest

laws in food sectors. Dr. Prerna Mohite insisted on widening the horizon in the field

and stressed the fact that specialization helps in getting jobs. Students should create

their own avenues for becoming career women. Mr. Pradeepbhai talked about various

areas where students can venture for employment.

The last session included interaction with Alumni who have carved a niche for

themselves and the society; they shared their experiences with the final year students,

motivating them.

9) A workshop on Enhancing "Culinary Skills and salad decoration" was arranged by

the department of Foods and Nutrition on 17th January 2012 for F.N. and F.S.Q.C.

students. Chef from Woodland Hotel, Nadiad was invited as resource person where

he demonstrated the preparation of red, white and green gravies which forms the base

for most of the recipes. He also demonstrated the various styles of decoration and

dressing used for the salad.

10) On 18th January 2012 a talk by Dr. A.W.P. David, Retired Collector and at present

working for C.V.M.'s IAS Academy talked to T.Y.B.Sc. (H.Sc.) students about

Usefulness of competitive exams conducted by UPSC / Banks / LIC / Railways etc.

Dr. R.C. Desai, Director C.D.C. made the students realize the worth of

womanhood and how they can come out of their shackles to become a collector or an

officer at Railways, Banks or Government posts. He informed about the new diploma

course they are starting in C.V.M. IAS Club to train the students for competitive

examinations.

38. Development programme for non-teaching staff:

The non-teaching staff members are encouraged to attend programs arranged by

Charutar Vidya Mandal (Management body) on calculation of Income tax.

Two supporting staff were encouraged to give the 10th Board Exams.

Seminar on Anger Management organized by the college collaboratively with JCI, on

19th April 2012 for the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.

39. Healthy Practices of the Institutions:

a) The students are exposed to various skills related to their respected field through

conducting workshops by each department of the college.

b) The parent-teacher meetings are conducted by each department for second year and

third year students every year.

c) Various seminars and conferences are organized giving the students a focused

approach on upcoming fields and social issues.

d) Students counselling is carried out for academic, personal and financial problems for

F.Y., S.Y. & T.Y. students.

e) Third year (final year) students are given counselling related to their job scopes and

career options.

f) Remedial classes are taken up for weak students. Specially in Chemistry, Biology and

English.

j) Various health check up camps i.e. Dental Check up camp at Krishna Hospital,

Karamsad, Thalessemia Check up camp with collaboration of Red Cross Society, Eye

Check up camp at college collaborated with Dr.Jethva, Full Body Check up camp at

Ayurved College.

k) In order to cater to the nutritional needs of the students, college canteen is run on no

profit no loss basis.

l) The students are encouraged to take part in competition in landscaping of college

garden and they have put efforts of growing medicinal plants in the garden.

m) Throughout the year competitions are organized by each department and also

Saptdharas to bring out the hidden talents of the students.

n) Exhibitions are arranged by each department for the parents and visitors to get

acquainted with the departmental activities. It also helps in publicity.
