• Introduce and integrate APA in Minutes videos to first-year students in the classroom

• Experiment with ‘flipped classroom’ instruction, mobile technology, and games

• Help students to understand the basic building blocks of APA

• Flipping the Classroom – Prior to class, students familiarize themselves

with the APA in Minutes videos • Applying Skills

– Teams of 3-4 people complete 6 “challenges” that involve APA citation building and formatting

• Skills Assessment – Each team is given a passport; Solutions must be

approved at the checkpoint before moving on
