Represents over 18,600 Master’s and PhD students in Alberta to Education Stakeholders
Role of the AGC
To act as the official voice of Graduate Students in the Province of Alberta
Represent the interests and concerns of graduate students to stakeholders and the Government of Alberta
Facilitate communication between Graduate Student Associations in Alberta
Students Help Shape the Education System
Current Concerns about Graduate Studies in Alberta
Student Stipends/Student Debt
Support for the Social Sciences and Humanities
Increased government financial support for university operating budgets
Opportunities for co-op and industrial internships at the graduate student level
