Practical Applications The Advanced Wire Marking System produces seamless heatshrinkable sleeves for the easy identification of electrical wire,cable, and mechanical tubing of all types. These sleeves arenot only permanent, but are also economical to generate in­house on an as-needed basis.

Durable Product The sleeves are manufactured from cross-linked polyolefin, aflame retardant material that will tolerate exposure to temperatures up to 135°C. The sleeves conform to AMS-DTL23053/5, Class 1 & 3 for material and functional requirements.They are also resistant to common fluids, lubricants and solvents. Once printed, the sleeves are ready for installationwithout any additional treatment.

Mark Permanence Tested "Mark permanence" is, generally speaking, the ability of a product to remain legible after exposure to either abrasion oraggressive fluids. Impact, Inc. has adopted the most widely accepted mark permanence tests for its products. When tested, Impact, lnc.'s Advanced Wire Marking Sleeves showed markpermanence quality beyond the minimum requirements ofSAE AS81531.

Convenient Format Flat, seamless heat shrinkable tubing is attached to fanfold paper with a reusable, adhesive tape backing. Fanfold paperalso gives you the advantage of stacking and organizing afterprinting. The unique format provides a handy work-in-progresslist, makes application a simple task for the installer andreduces the installed cost.

Printing Requirements The products are printed on thermal transfer printers. Windows®

software is included for free. Portable, hand-held printers arealso available.

The Impact, Inc. FRT Cable Tags are made of a thermoplastic polyether-polyurethane material, which is a halogen free, flame retardant, hydrolysis and micro organism resistant material. The raw material fulfills UL94-V0. The markers are constructed in a one material make-up. For identification of cables, conduits and wires. The markers are supplied on rolls for thermal transfer print.
